• Energy Drinks plus Concerta (ADHD Medicine)

Just a quick question. I take Concerta (32MG) every day for mild ADHD. Works flawlessly. But today, out of boredom and the need to finish a BUNCH of Deviant Art submissions and shit, I drank two Rockstar's over the course of a few hours. I'm have a huge headrush similar to that of the first time you smoke/smoke in general, am really concentrated with what ever I'm doing, and I can't draw a straight line without it wiggling all over the place*facepalm*. Is my heart going to just give out after the effects have warn off? I feel smart :fuckyou:
So you drank two Rockstars and you think your going to die? No. Maybe if you drank two a day for awhile.
unless you have a heart condition or something you're fine. Taurine makes your heart beat faster (in the rockstar). Concerta is also like ritalin which is methylphenidate which is quite similar to cocaine. Thus, also making your heart beat faster. You will be fine

yeah guys dont drink rockstar, go smoke some meth or rail some coke. Anyways, the point of this thread is not to drink two rockstars if you're a pussy. [sp]LOL JK BROOOO[/sp]

Energy drinks are nothing compared to a strong coffee. I find it funny that you posted about it here. It's almost like you're bragging about having some ADHD pills. What makes it worse is that you actually have ADHD, so it's not even like the pills are anything out of the norm for you.
Coffee really is better than energy drink.

Concerta is a powerful stimulant similar to cocaine. Add caffeine, a weak stimulant, to that and you get an increased stimulation effect.
More stimulation - not always good.
I just think energy drinks is an excuse to cram caffeine into a fizzy drink with a load of other shit - sugar, taurine and whatever else there is... Stick with coffee lol
B6 and other shitty stuff yeah. Energy drinks really just have good flavour - nothing else. Coffee in other hands, that stuff can make you energized :D.

Nice try though. Re-read post before replying.
Caffeine in energy drinks doesn't even give you a buzz. 500ml of coffee on the other hand will have you bouncing off the walls.
Shouldn't be an AHDH human be sedated by medicine or coffee, not stimulated?
This wouldn't do anything to me, i have 5+ coffee's and 2~ish mothers a day, and it doesn't affect me.
Shouldn't be an AHDH human be sedated by medicine or coffee, not stimulated?
I have ADHD, and I can inform you that caffeine does neither to me, unless it is added to a more powerful stimulant, like amphetamine. Then it slightly increases the effects.
This wouldn't do anything to me, i have 5+ coffee's and 2~ish mothers a day, and it doesn't affect me.
You drink an unhealthy amount of caffeine and will probably be diagnosed with diabetis.
Blagh, everything is unhealthy and causes something deadly nowadays.
Blagh, everything is unhealthy and causes something deadly nowadays.
Except that what you are doing will dramatically shorten your life.

We're going to do a few more tests before a diagnosis, but I'm confident that's what it is, as well. Caffeine has no effect on me unless I drink a fucking lot of it, in which case it clears my mind and helps me focus. I've also tried Adderal (20mg XR) and it didn't give me energy or make me euphoric. It calmed me, significantly reduced my anxiety, and helped me concentrate.

I don't take drugs for my ADHD though, I just attempt to deal with it and usually end up failing classes.
im supposed to take 30mg of adderall xr for adhd, but im like the most calm person you could meet. energy drinks dont work for me, but a 20oz good cuban coffee will hype me up a tad.

Caffeine has never affected me, it sucks. I've always wanted to feel a caffeine buzz but I never can... I don't even drink coffee/energy drinks that often. D:
i quite enjoy snorting a few lines of ritalin every now and then; especially when me and mates are trying to spend the whole night awake.
I snorted 50mg of ritalin on new years eve. I was a bolt of fuckin lightning
I'm the same exact way. I don't take drugs for my ADHD though, I just attempt to deal with it and usually end up failing classes.
Yeah, I've fucked up the first 3 semesters of college.
You drink an unhealthy amount of caffeine and will probably be diagnosed with diabetis.
Thats about the same ammount of caffeine in one energy drink, according to the people against energy drink, that is :v:
