Unsurprisingly, Donald Trump supports waterboarding and will move to end it's "status as a war crime
Donald Trump said Sunday he would "go through a process" to end waterboarding's status as a war crime in order to use it against ISIS if he is elected president.
"I'd go through a process and get it declassified frankly ... certainly waterboarding at a minimum," Trump told CNN's Jake Tapper on "State of the Union."
"They're chopping off heads of Christians and many other people in the Middle East. They're chopping heads off, they laugh at us when they hear we're not going to approve waterboarding and then they'll have a James Foley and others where they cut off their heads."
Trump said during Saturday night's Republican debate in New Hampshire that he would reinstate waterboarding if elected and "bring back a hell of a lot worse than waterboarding." But he did not say what he would do that was "worse."
vote Trump: because you should strive to be the fucking worst
I can safely say, I'm no longer surprised.
If Trump came out tomorrow and said he had no problem bombing the middle east until it was entirely covered in napalm, I would NOT be surprised.
Why don't someone waterboard Trump then, let him see what he wants to bring back.

I'd be surprised at only napalm, I'm starting to think he would support bombing the middle east with mustard gas.
I'm curious why people support this. I suspect people are listening to his tone and not the words he is saying.
Shocker. He's always been so reasonable and level headed!

This is pretty progressive of Trump.
He's actually acknowledging it's torture

It's weird. He has some sane policies that are better than the usual GOP party line, then he has fucking moronic shit like this.
And some people say they'd rather vote for him than Clinton if Sanders loses like wtf
And some people say they'd rather vote for him than Clinton if Sanders loses like wtf
Checks and Balances.
And some people say they'd rather vote for him than Clinton if Sanders loses like wtf
To be fair, Trump isn't a criminal yet. Yet.
Not that I'd ever vote for him either way.
And some people say they'd rather vote for him than Clinton if Sanders loses like wtf
At least he's honest about what he's going to do. For all we know, hillary probably agrees with him.

Like what???
And some people say they'd rather vote for him than Clinton if Sanders loses like wtf
The need for someone who is not bought and sold by corporations is so strong, people willing to vote for a turd. A turd who will torture you but at least isnt in the pockets of corporations.

Atleast with Trump, nothing will get done, the president can't just do what they want.

as if he couldn't just tone down his abysmal programs and try to push them again
To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if Trump wanted to bring back the fucking guillotine
He wants to replace Obamacare with something resembling a national healthcare system, he's the only Republican candidate that supports such a thing. Literally all the other Republican candidates just want to repeal the ACA and then stop there, which is the worst thing you can do, it either needs to be reformed or replaced.
AFAIK he's also one of the few Republican candidates that isn't dead set against same-sex marriage and abortions.
If you dig underneath the pile of ridiculous shit he's said you can actually find a somewhat reasonable person, at least in comparison to what else the Republicans have to offer.
Which makes you wonder if he is appealing to the base or really means it.
If you look into the other things supports, he's not that bad of a candidate. I mean, I wouldn't vote for him, but he isn't as bad as the tumblrites and heroic internet activists make him out to be.
Although, he's got a lot of fucking stupid blind followers and he knows this.
He's got a few diamonds in that pile of cowshit
Tbh I'd take Trump over Cruz any day of the week.
Why can't we just revive Reagen
If people actually took the time to look at his past, look at what hes said in the past that he'd probably run as a Democrat and the Republicans are "too crazy for him". He supports universal healthcare, he's backed Hillary Clinton when she was secretary of state, he is friends with Bill Clinton. He has supported eminent domain and big government, completely contrary to what he says in the debates and his rallies.
He's just appealing to the very loud demographic of the GOP base that want a rich, loud, tough guy who won't take no shit and says it like it is and does what it takes to get the job done. Anyone who believes him when he says the inane shit that he says like banning muslims or waterboarding buy into this media bullshit. He's pulling a fast one on the GOP voters and the establishment sees that and is terrified because he is an outsider to them. He's the republican equivalent of Hillary Clinton who will say anything to get a vote.
Vote Trump because torture is totally radical.
Like what???
Campaign finance reform, drug policy, and taxes for instance. Then he has retarded views like vaccines cause autism and global warming doesn't exist, along with the myriad others.
Anyone remember that comic I think it was that basically show'd trump going further and further into insanity with his views, just to see how far he could push his supporters, but him not actually believing what he spouted and the people eat it up.
This is pretty much that, he can get away with saying anything and it'll only grow his platform.

Honestly, most of those are probably just pandering to the lowest common denominator, which is the average Republican voter.
Wow what do you guys have against surfing
as if he couldn't just tone down his abysmal programs and try to push them again
You know how nothing really passed in congress because of the republicans? Now imagine that with pretty much that with both parties.
Democracy. One person, one vote, what a piss ass system.
It saying itself, a vote from a idiot is equally valued as a vote from Einstein.
Fuck that.
