• Thinking about upgrading current setup

I'm thinking about doing a little bit of upgrading. This is my basic set up. Intel Core 2 Duo E750 Abit IP35 Pro 2GB DDR2 Corsair 650w Radeon 1950x I'm definitely going to be upgrading to a new graphics card, as the 1950 was only supposed to be a place holder until I upgraded several years ago when I actually put the system together. By now it's not holding up at all. Looking to spend around $300-400 for the card. The main questions are, would upgrading to a sandy even be worth it right now and what video card should I be looking at?
I wouldn't spend it all on the card, you probably also want a better mobo and processor as well (probably more and better ram too)
So something in the neighborhood of an i5-2500k, p67 mobo, 4/8gigs? What about a video card?
what's your resolution?
Currently 1680x1050. Wanting to bump up to 1920x1200 once I get a new monitor.
Get a Z68 Mobo instead of H67 or P67. Most manufacturers are planning on phasing H67 and P67 out. And they're the same price.

A Asus P8Z68-V Pro has the same specs as a Asus P8P67 Pro, except for the ssd caching, support for igp, Lucix virtu/support for quicksync. Etc. [editline]26th May 2011[/editline] And its 10 euro more.
