i'm glad 343 isn't changing the look of the game to fit their shitty canon from halo 4
The nostalgia is real. Makes me want to get an xbone
Now here's to hopes that Halo 5 isn't as terrible as 4!

Because so far these are actually looking nice
that Sargent Johnson at the end is straying really fucking hard in the uncanny valley.
I really doubt that it'll be an in-engine cutscene upon release.

They've already said that the cutscenes are all seperate CG sourced from Blur.

just as long as it looks good (which it does) and doesnt have that obvious pre-renderedness that a lot of past pre-rendered cutscenes have, itll be fine

He looks pretty fucking real, I'd say. Could be a bit better animated, I'll agree, but when I saw a still frame of that first, it looked like they'd gotten a real actor for him.
Oh god, the nostalgia:

...Still not enough going on for the XB1 for me to want one, though
this isn't hyping me up, this is pissing me off. fucking microsoft, release this to pc

They never said it was in engine. They're all pre-rendered.
I uh. Wow.
I was planning on re-playing the series from the start, since it's been a few years.
I'm... I'm gonna hold off on that just a wee bit.
I'd rather have the cutscenes in-engine.
This just looks weird to me.
That's some pretty badass CGI here.
I'll just watch it on youtube. Not going to waste my money on the console when this is about all I could really want.
