Personally I found the beta to be much better and more fun than 3.
I'm pretty stoked for the game BF4 is turning out to be. I hope they let us try out another map close to the end of beta (like how we got Caspian for the last three days of BF3's)
Cant wait!
The beta made me pre-order it because I've had so much fun with it so far.
Wish more buildings could collapse though.
Wish the collapsing building didn't make the map look like some sort of ugly pre-textured dev version.
Other then that I'm finally playing consistent games without loosing connection and it's damn fun.
collapsing the tower should be harder
Is no one else stuttering out of the asshole? I mean 1 to 4 second stutters followed by another as if I didn't have enough RAM, which I do. Framerate's perfectly smooth, but the stuttering god damnit
Can anyone explain why the beta closes on the 15th yet the game doesn't get released till the 29th?

Most likely to iron out major issues with the game that are present in the beta for a day one patch, I would assume.
I would've liked for DICE to include bot mode like in older BF games since I suck against real players. Though, I might consider buying it when it gets cheaper.

Ever since it went public I've been getting stuttering. No clue why the fuck this is happening suddenly
Running the game flawlessly here, maybe because my hardware's nearly exactly the same as the recommended?
The beta map is so boring
The beta runs like trash, not exactly doing a good job to convince me to buy it when ghosts will probably run better.

But that still doesn't mean they need to close the beta so early? I guess its just a way to get players more excited.
fine performance here
beta is yet to convince me to buy it though.
Battlefield 4 seems like Super Battlefield 3... which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
I wanted to play commander, and nope, can't try that.
I might get it when it goes $30.

So with the DLC will it be Super Battlefield 3 Premium Edition v2013?
Quite like how the vehicle combat changed. There's a bit more to it than BF3. Landing your hits correctly is more important. You can't just rain down tank shells or rocket fire either since you have an ammo pool that takes time to regenerate.
They'll have plenty of balancing to do but the base is solid.
I like what little I have played, my only complaints are the beta map has far too many vehicles and the game runs quite a bit worse than BF3. With new maps and optimization I think it will be enjoyable.
It runs like shit and I just played 2 servers with in 10 minutes and both crashed.

What is: A beta
Works great for me.

ok but battlefield 3 beta wasnt nearly as bad

BF3 beta crashed constantly for me and barely ran, BF4 beta runs flawlessly
[editline]7th October 2013[/editline]
It's all just random chance
I wonder if this game would be worth getting.
I didn't like the jets and boring realism of Battlefield 3, but I found the teamwork to be really engaging. Even if I wasn't any good killin' dudes, I felt satisfied bringing guys back to life or getting xp just for spotting someone.
Do you guys think a GTX 650ti boost will be enough for this game medium settings 1600x900 resolution?

have fun waiting 8 months to hop into the game when everyone has 8 months of experience and their favorite builds unlocked
ok but battlefield 3 beta wasnt nearly as bad
The typical experience with the BF3 beta for more then half of it was 20 fps with 5 minutes of gameplay until a hole in the ground is blown and then 50 minutes of lagging through the ground until the defenders won
