Authorities say 3 bodies have been found. The bodies have been discovered in a river but the officers have only recovered two as the last one lies in a dangerous to reach area. The identities of the victims have not been released. More people are presumed dead. Some 1200 troops were ordered to help with the emergency situation. Two civilian aircraft, a helicopter and a fixed wing airplane are being used for air support, according to local news stations. Almost ten percent of Calgary’s 1.1 million population were ordered to evacuate. The entire Calgary downtown core has been forced to relocate, an area where approximately 350,000 people work. Another twenty-five communities throughout the region are under an evacuation order.
http://rt.com/news/canada-floods-emergency-state-093/

So what caused the Flooding? Excessive rain? Or was it something that had to do with climate change?
So what caused the Flooding? Excessive rain? Or was it something that had to do with climate change?
I heard it was excessive rain.
So what caused the Flooding? Excessive rain? Or was it something that had to do with climate change?
Icecaps melted, no more Calgary for you!
I was just wondering because I remember going to visit a glacier when I lived in Calgary so I thought it might be caused by it melting.

"hurr government sent in cops and army to help with floods hurr durr illuminati nwo"
The problem is that it's RT to begin with. Certainly there are better sources to post than RT. To give them any traffic at all is a crime and does nothing but hurt actual good journalists.
This makes me scared to live in the Lower Mainland of B.C.
Only be scared if you live in Richmond.
When there was a flood in Quebec, army didn't do shit...
Only be scared if you live in Richmond.
Richmond will become Canada's Atlantis, and will have the largest volume of submerged internet cafes and dim sum restaurants in the world

Living just outside Edmonton so no sign of floods here
Glad I live in the north end of the city. Repairing the city is going to be a bitch though. Here's a picture of the Saddledome which is flooded in:
