This
Paranormal Activity 3 was made for the sake of money, like most other Hollywood movies

Yeah, like it did sort of flesh out the story a bit so I understood why it was happening but in terms of the ending etc its just samey
Looks better than the first 2.
It helped me understand (sort of) the reasons behind the shit of / in the first two movies, but I expected more.

Went to see it last night. It was worse than the last two imo. At least in the other ones they had fun things to watch out for that weren't really noticeable like stuff moving slightly or disappearing, but there was none of that in this.
It was entertaining in the cinema though, watching people jump and shit.
Also once again, hardly any of the shit in the trailer was in the actual movie.
"Beware my ture form
I am teh domen"
I kind of liked it. Yeah, it was similar to the other two, but I'm a sucker for the paranormal activity series.

Also, that kitchen scene was pretty fucking cool.
I like the PA movies, so my view comes from that perspective.
I liked it although I thought it started very slow. I think it's a bit odd that the ending is sort of a rip off of The Last Exorcism ending. I also thought it was funny that the best jump scare(at least with the crowd I saw it with) was literally someone saying "boo!" to the camera.
I thought Katie and her sister, grown up, were hot but their mom is on another level. I hate that cockblocking demon so much! The friend who got scared shitless was hilarious. And yeah that kitchen scene was awesome.
These movies never really make me scared or anything but I'll be honest, the ending was pretty damn freaky to me
[sp]That shadowy girl in the doorway, the cult, the cult sign on the wall, that Pentagram thing on the wall and shit just freaked me the fuck out[/sp]
I've only watched the first one, which was good. What surprises me is that both sequels (2 and 3) seem to have actually gotten decent/good reviews. It almost seems that it shouldn't be that way, you would expect these sequels to be absolute critical failures. I should check the second one out soon since its on netflix instant now.
Looks like shit
I loved the first and second. I got back from seeing the third Friday. I loved it as much as the first and second.
I thought it was good...for a horror movie. Lots of pup-ups and jumps. Hilarious to see friends jump like a bitch.
looks like shit just like the other two
nothing happens nothing happens nothing happens nothing happens JUMP SCARE
repeat about twice

That's cool, go see the movie and formulate an opinion.

That's true, but the reason I think it gets highish reviews is its fun to go see with friends.
DOORS SLAMMING REAL HARD PART 3
First two were good. Is it worth seeing or does it just end in:
Protagonist one was found dead on ______
Protagonist two has'nt been found.
My favourite part was at the end when the [sp]husband got all his limbs snapped back behind him[/sp] and someone yelled out, "Oh, fuck that shit!".
Whole cinema laughed.
The only enjoyable part about this movie, in my opinion, was the fact that no one in the theatre cared if people talked/screamed/laughed.
It felt like one giant house party.
i thought it was kind of funny and not scary at all

That's what made the movie not as effective for me. My theater was littered with 13 year olds who would giggle at any suspenseful part. It really took the atmosphere away.

I screamed that in my theatre, do you live in Vegas?
Also, anyone else notice that the ending kind of does not follow up with the other two, considering the house was supposed to burn down? Or was that just psychosis created by the girls to push back these memories?
Came back from seeing it, a lot of the stuff that happened in the trailer never came about in the film. Which was actually a good thing, I went in expecting just a violent ghost doing nothing but throw shit around, completely ruining any tension. Compared to the others, it was actually pretty fucking scary although I don't think it would have nearly the same effect if I was watching it on a regular TV at home or something.
Mind you, that camera he attached to the fan and put in the kitchen was nervewrecking to watch

You were just expecting something to appear, then oscillate, then turn back, and it would be gone. Instead, you got some bitch shouting "Boo!", which scared the shit out of everyone there.
