Is the new Jagged Alliance game worth getting if you're a fan of the old games?
DARK SOULS EIGHT DOLLARS
STEP IT UP SENPAI BETTER GET THAT SHIT
I'd totally buy Borderlands 2 if there wasn't $60 of major DLC that's not on sale.
If you haven't played any of the souls games yet you are not a ~Tru Gamur~
Seriously though, DSFIX and mousefix pretty much fixes everything people don't like about the game. And the 30fps actually is really pleasing to the eye with the per-object motion blur.
Seriously though...get it. I mean it's like the shining glimmer of hope in a pile of really mediocre game design happening recently. It's like the natural progression of the game design values from the NES and SNES era but in the modern era in my opinion. Like it has that polish, that detailed thought, that creativity, that difficulty. It's so fucking solid.

You can make it run at 60 FPS with DSFix anyway.

Most of it's just costume DLC. Two characters for DLC that are ten for each, and soon to be four story mode DLCs that cost 15 dollars each.
I don't understand why character and story DLC would put you off of a game.

Because I've played Borderlands 1, the second someone else wants to play DLC they have it just becomes a mess. You've also made my point even clearer. That $60 for major DLC is about to expand to around $80, I've purposefully not included cosmetics in my total, which, when the fourth DLC is released, will be around $125 in total.

The only thing you have to worry about is if they want to play in one of the DLC areas, which I'm pretty sure they just pop up an error message if someone doesn't have the DLC. Also, legolover, where the hell did you get $15 for the campaign DLCs from?

The only time there are conflicts with DLC is if a DLC owner tries to go into a DLC area using the teleporter when another player doesn't have the DLC.
Yeah the DLC adds up, but it's not like it's selling features that the game lacked. The main story takes quite a while to beat and it's got the four starting characters like the last game.

Oh i'm a dumb. I sorta auto-defaulted to 15 because that's usually how much story/map DLC costs, and the fact that single characters cost 10 dollars as well.
get BL2 if you haven't already
just don't get any DLC

I liked the first two, the hunting one was shit though.

The torgue DLC was fucking fantastic. Like I would put it up there next to general knoxx and claptraps robolution in terms of quality and entertainment.
I think I can wait until the inevitable GotY edition. Besides, I still haven't finished Borderlands 1 yet, or done any of the dlc.
