hi, ive bin modding a case for my new build but you see, i need to cut out a rectangle for the cpu back plate. what tool could do this, i have many tools and sh#t in my dads workshop, but no tool can cut with such a small whole and also the power drill has broken so anyone know what the best tool could do this? thanks
Run your bulldozer for a bit, that should melt some panels out. [editline]10th December 2011[/editline] Or maybe you could carve it up with your knife-edge intellect.
Troll harder
Just stop posting.
Unlike SOME PEOPLE I'm going to help the OP out by suggesting a Dremel Tool; they're fairly expensive for what they are and you'll hardly use it, but fuck are they useful when you need it.
You realise that the kid'll end up killing himself with one of those? Think before you post :v:
thanks for replying, ill see if i have any
Dremel tools are also useful for cutting your hands off so you can't make any more posts. That might be useful to you in the near future.
I don't understand why anyone would want to spend efforts/money into making your computer look "cooler" Sure, spend money into a sufficiently cool/good case and that's it.

For the "BEST GAMING RIG OF 2011" it's funny that you bought a case without a CPU backplate :downs:
I don't understand why anyone would want to spend efforts/money into making your computer look "cooler" Sure, spend money into a sufficiently cool/good case and that's it.
Sometimes you run into things that you didn't know beforehand that need to be altered to make something work. For example, I have a good quality full tower case from a reputable brand. When it arrived, I found that there is a large metal 'PSU tray' on the upper half of the case that is in the way of most aftermarket CPU heatsinks. The top mount PSU was supposed to only be an option, but the tray was attached permanently. I never removed it though. Too leery of hacking up something I had barely owned. I just installed the heatsink in a vertical orientation. Fortunately there was a hole in the plate for the PSU fan. None of this was mentioned in the description or in any of the reviews.
The CPU backplate is already behind the motherboard
You could try mixing Bleach and Amonia together and applying it to your case. Be sure to stay near your case to prevent it melting too much of it.
Hooray he's gone for 3 days now! 3 days of relative peace.
