I have Photoshop CS6 (64-Bit) installed on my HDD, and when I open it, it takes up 70GB on my SSD, leaving ~15GB on it, and it doesn't allow me to use things like the text tool, it gives me the message "Could not use the text tool because the scratch disks are full."
Specs:
AMD FX-8350
MSI Radeon R9 290
12GB DDR3 RAM
120GB SSD
1TB HDD
Go into your Photoshop preferences and change the Scratch Disks to not use your SSD. That's also going to put a load of unnecessary wear on your SSD.
