Saudi Arabia looks to have it's eyes set on invading Syria from Turkish territory.

Saudi Arabia is sending troops and fighter jets to Turkey's Incirlik military base ahead of a possible ground invasion of Syria. The Saudi's claim this is to counter ISIS, but they are opposed to Assad. Should mention the FSA received a bunch of brand new Grad rockets the other day, quite possibly from the Saudi's. (I'll post that link if you want)

I don't even care any more, lets just watch the fireworks from the safety of Europe already. What can we possibly gain by now?

Curious to see Russia's reaction to this move, if it turns out to be anti-Assad too.
I think it's safe to say Russia-Syria v everybody v isis has become the closest thing to a world war we have seen in a while

Yeah, but it isn't much farther off from the proxy wars we've had with russia since WW2.

Do you even know what a world war is?
This isn't WW3. It's an uprising in the middle of a worthless desert that no one cared about until last year, that's turning into a Russia-Iran vs. Saudi Arabia-Turkey proxy war. If WW3 ever happens it'll be Pakistan vs. India

Given that it's not actually a unified organization.

Closest analogue would be Korea, where both Soviet and American troops were directly involved in combat on their opposite sides of the frontline. Syria is turning out to be a bit more than a 'regular' proxy-war like Afghanistan in the 80's or Vietnam was; since it isn't superpower vs materially-backed-up local forces; it's actual manpower and not just equipment backing up the local boots.
I hope the Sauds get their shit slapped if they actually try something in Syria.
I mean judging from what's been happening in Yemen the Saudi military just spends a shitload of money on equipment while the military itself is eh

Never stated. Here is the link however.

Indeed. Folks have been fleeing from the Eastlands to Europe in droves, thanks to the mad creatures tearing up the countryside. One can only imagine the chaos that would occur if Turkey and Saudi Arabia got into a full-on scrap, not to mention the number of refugees trying to travel to safer nations.

No it won't. The rest of the world will sit back and watch them slug it out, only intervening if it looks like Al-Qaeda is going to cart of Pakistan's nuclear weapons.

Hoping for a war to become a meatgrinder is such a noble sentiment.

The second nuclear retaliation from either side becomes a real possibility, forces from around the world will intervene.
Beyond that, either country will summon allies. India will likely reach out to Russia and the US. China probably wouldn't become involved, but if it did, would probably side with Pakistan due to ongoing conflict with India. Pakistan would see immense support from the rest of the Islamic world, especially if they appeal by claiming it's a holy war.
There's no one conflict in the world that is as likely to become a world war, as the India-Pakistan conflict.
Even if everyone backs off and no nuclear weapons are used by either side, it's still two military superpowers engaged in a war of massive scale. In the best case scenario, millions of people die.

Pakistan is a secular state.

No one likes either side enough to risk themselves in such a war.

I don't think you know what that quote means.
