• How is Sun direction measured versus coordinates?

Hey, I'm again doing research for a game and was hoping someone would help me out here; How are the sun angle's relative to the earth measured by a given point on the earth's longitude and latitude? I'm trying to implement a day night cycle, and I'm trying to make it accurate, hence why I ask. If I'm not really clear, tell me. I feel like I am having a hard time explaining this.

Oh, okay. So just from east to west then as the day goes by?
