Hello.
I've bought myself a pair of HTF600's while in USA and I've noticed this problem after the power went out- The sound in the left cup is louder and clearer than the sound in the right. Now this very good at throwing my head spinning and giving me aches, so I gotta find out why, and how to fix it.
I've tested it in Team Fortress 2, YouTube, Fubar2000. All of said gave the same result, the left ear was clearer, or louder. After listening to it in sound test I've noticed that the right one sounds like it's, further away. I've tested spinning my headphones around to see if it's me who hears wrong, but no, it's the headset. Since this came after a restart I wonder if anyone happens to know how to fix this?
Have you tried them on a different PC?
It might be your sound card.
Ah fuck, it definitely is my headset. Anything to do?
I know warranty is pretty tricky when you're in another country and all.
The driver on the left side is probably dented or something. Post in the headphone megathread.
push both cups into your head and then break the seal between cup and your head so the pressure is relieved. This will push the driver back into the correct position, the driver just 'popped out' this is a common problem with HTF-600 because of their semi-open design.
How exactly do I break this seal? Just keep pushing until it cracks? Sorry but I don't really understand :v:
you just need to release all the positive pressure by letting air into the cups, slide them off your head or pull the cup off your head slightly, whatever

it's hard to explain, but you'll figure it out
basically the headphones are supposed to be like
/---\
[( )]
but something happened and now it's
/---\
[) )]
^- popped out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and when you push the earcup in it fixes it, but if you just let the air go back through the earcup it might pop back out so you relieve the pressure and it stays.

Gonna try that when I get back home then. Wait, so it's the left one which is the problem? I just push it and then everything fixes right?

Nevermind I understand it now.
Okay so I tried it, shouldn't be that way in the first place because I wasn't even wearing it. I've balanced by moving the equalizer 3 steps to right, but it feels like it changes the sound somehow. Are you able to physically do anything at all?
And how does U.S warranty work? My dad's going to the US on sunday and iirc it's in the same area so he can claim the warranty. I mostly wonder if you only need the product and the receipt? Because we don't have the box anymore.
