Just recently I bought the box-set of Spaced. It was a sit-com written by and starring Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Jessica Stevenson about two strangers who pretend to be a couple so they can rent a flat meant for couples only. The first series ran in 1999 and the second in 2001, during and after that time the show built up a cult following which gave the team the drive to make Shaun of the Dead.
The show is probably the funniest TV series to come out of Britain for decades and I recommend everyone to buy the box-set if you haven't seen it already. If you liked Shaun of the Dead you will undoubtedly love this. I think it's on Hulu for you Americans.
"This video contains content from Channel 4, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds."
But Spaced was a fantastic series

I literally just uploaded it, what is this sorcery.

Re-uploaded unlisted with no reference to spaced, if they flag it then there is some witchcraft going on.

What the flying fuck, it's blocked again. Channel 4 are fucking psychic.
I love this show, the whole series is on Hulu even.

Brian is fucking awesome.
One of my favorite episodes is the one with the slow motion shoot outs. And Tires, Jesus when those dance songs came on I was in stitches.
Watched Series 2 a couple days ago, I'd seen a couple episodes a few years ago but I didn't really understand the humour, I find it fucking hilarious now though.

IIRC youtube runs an algorithm on all uploaded materials to check for copyrighted content
it's like how tineye works
it's easily bypassed though

That was actually the video I tried to upload.
I love this show. So much geeky sci-fi/comic book humor.
Episode 3 is hilarious, Brian's old art friend was delightfully unhinged.

Looks like you couldn't find the "basic grammar" key either.
I love this series, my dad likes to introduce it to people from the American branch of the company he works for, and apparently they all love it :buddy:
It combines the action, romance and comedy of both Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead. It's also directed by Edgar Wright. If you liked HF, SOTD or Scott Pilgrim's direction, you will definitely like Spaced. In fact, I loved Spaced more than HF SOTD and SP. It has more pop culture references in the series than SP does. Simon plays Resident Evil 2 or 3 (I haven't watched it in ages) in one episode. Countless references to bands, games, comics, movies, TV shows. That's one of the reasons why I liked Spaced so much. In fact, if you have the DVDs, there's a little pop-up thing you can turn on for episodes that displays when there's a reference and it's practically every 2 minutes.
By the way, Spaced spawned the idea for Shaun of the Dead. There was a zombie scene in one of the first episodes and Simon and Edgar liked it so much that they made a movie about it. Nick was cast since Simon and him were best buds.
DVD is superior. There was an extra where they went back to the house after a few years doing a feature for the DVD, but then they noticed there were some tourists taking pictures of the house outside. As a joke, Simon/that chick went outside and yelled to stop taking pictures of their house. It was rad.

Vulva- she's/he's non gender specific.
I was watching a re-run of the first series a while ago, I noticed that Tim said he wanted to be a graphic artist for Dark Star Comics. In Paul Graeme Willy is a graphic artist for Dark Star Comics.
Probably the best show of all time. Lines are delivered perfectly and there are so many little details everywhere. So many goddamn one-liners too.
The bit were Simons character plays too much Resident Evil 2 made me laugh hard, everywere he goes he see's zombies and starts screaming lines out to his freinds.
Here's one bit.

@Singo care to explain why you rated me dumb? If you're here it's because you like it so did I so why the dumb...
Because you bumped a thread from April of last year.
my favorite tv show. One of my favorite parts is when they play paintball.
Best episode is the one where they all go to the party with tyres, and they all end up dancing to the A-Team remix.

Oh, i'm sorry i should have made another one then? If i did there would be "Theres another thread about this bla bla bla". And so what at least I used SEARCH most people here don't and I wanted to talk about it because i am enjoying it.
No, bumping threads is fine. Ignore them.

I'm actually glad you did, I've been meaning to rewatch series 2.
i've been in love with this show forever.
every once in a while i do a full viewing while completely munted. good times.
tyres, mike and brian are the most brilliant characters ever conceived. tyres really should have his own tv show.
I just watched the entire series on hulu, amazing.
My dad knew tires when he lived in london as tires is actually a courier.
(my dad used to work in a really popular bike shop in london)
did he have brakes?
