• Brain Dead Parents are Shoving Bleach in Their Kids' Asses to Cure the Autisms

I shit you not:
Today, I learned something new. It wasn’t something I wanted to believe was real or anything I had ever wished to learn but it entered my brain and now I can’t get it out: Parents are using bleach enemas/drinks to try to cure their children of autism. They force the bleach solution into their own children orally or via enemas — both of which can cause serious health issues. Parents report their children fighting, screaming and writhing in pain. The monsters who sell the product online say it’s a miracle cure. The sane population calls it child abuse.
There's even a Facebook group and forum dedicated to these idiots. Wikipedia article describing how deadly this shit is. WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE?!
What the fuck who even thinks for a second making your child drink bleach would do anything but hurt them? let alone giving them a bleach enema..
Holy shit this isn't even funny any more we need to seriously sit people down and educate them on what autism IS
this is an elaborate troll. right?
this is an elaborate troll. right?
I fucking hope it's a joke and someone is playing a sick troll because this is beyond many levels of ignorance that exists
Child protective services plz
I shit you not:
was the pun necessary
This has been going on for years, it's another one of those miracle cure/"x causes autism" scams. If I'm not mistaken quite a few people died from it so far. The enema stuff is news to me though. The good news about the Facebook group etc is that law enforcement may be able to intervene due to child abuse.
this is an elaborate troll. right?
Its of high quality at least, it reminds me of the breast feeding trolls.
Someone should inform the police about this Facebook group for proper investigation.
On her Facebook page, Rivera — who identifies herself as a biomedical consultant and certified homeopath – keeps a running total of parents who have contacted her, saying MMS has “cured” their children of autism.
I don't think death is technically a cure.
In my rage I forgot to put the article: http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2015/02/parents-trying-to-reverse-kids-autism-by-flushing-out-vaccines-with-bogus-miracle-bleach-enemas
this is an elaborate troll. right?
I really hope so. I can understand parents being so desperate to help their child have a normal life they might take riskier chances, but this is insane and monstrous.
These people seriously need to be arrested for child abuse.
If you're doing anything shown in Metalocalypse, there's something horribly wrong with you.
There are no therapeutic products containing sodium chlorite authorized for oral consumption by humans in Canada.
Glad to see Health Canada doing at least something right and taking a very firm stand on this shit relatively early on.
These parents need to be arrested, and then left to rot in prison for the rest of their sad, horrible lives. They have earned their own special little shithole in the deepest depths of hell.
In a way I sort of have to feel sorry for the parents who do these things. They're just desperate, and not entirely mentally stable, trying to find a way to care for their child in a way that they truly never actually can, and being quite literally fed poisons by charlatans out for their money. I mean, anti-vaxxing is abuse and born out of paranoid delusion, but this is hardly any different from the dozens of other fake 'miracle cure' hyenas you find jumping on the parents of autistic children, in intent if not in practice. And in practice this has the potential to either die out quickly, or last far longer since on one hand knowingly force feeding someone bleach is going to get you arrested pretty fast, but on the other when it kills the kids the parents aren't going to realize the treatment doesn't work like they did with gluten free. [editline]21st February 2015[/editline] The fact that this is being run by a former scientologist should make that fairly apparent.
The comments under this video are horrifying. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p5W_ky0RH8A All of these people believe this works, both the people doing it and people receiving "treatment".

It discusses the various psychological factors at play which make people susceptible to pseudo-science and it isn't much of a stretch to apply that to this situation. I believe a lot of the people doing this are terrified parents who have either been convinced or who have convinced themselves that they have harmed their children by getting them vaccinated and there are people who are out there who are willing to exploit that fear and desperation to turn a profit. They may love their children very much but now that they've been convinced that this is a potential cure, they feel compelled to try given the alternative of living life never knowing if it could have worked. That is the fear that these people exploit and they should be arrested, have their assets seized, and it used to set a precedent legally against such practices in the future.
Someone needs to go Frank Castle on these people. Not necessarily full-on Punisher mode, mind you. I've reached the point where I see shit like this and I become genuinely dizzied by it. We've officially reached the point where the FBI should be stepping in.
That forum reminds me of that forum dedicated to cracking open turtle shells because everyone on it believed a myth that turtles hid treasures in their shells. In other words, a bunch of highly delusional people that follow the bandwagon far enough to do serious harm to other living beings.

We need a much larger response though if we want to save a percentage of the next generation from being irreparably harmed by their parents' fear and ignorance. Aside from the children who have autism, it can and probably is being administered to children who's parents THINK they might be autistic.
Didnt someone actually commit suicide by drinking bleach?
I'm starting to think we're devolving. Seriously, no one is this fucking stupid on purpose, or at least I like to think so.
don't forget the part about telling him why the nice big men in suits are coming to take him away
I hope the facebook group stays open, it can be a starting place for CPS.
Someone should inform the police about this Facebook group for proper investigation. I don't think death is technically a cure.
What the fuck even is a "certified homeopath"?
There are some people that can't really be called people anymore, here they are.
What the fuck even is a "certified homeopath"?
Nothing real or credible, that is for sure.
