• Can't access Facepunch from my home internet connection.

Since Facepunch went up after the DDoS attack a couple of days ago, I still haven't been able to access Facepunch from my computer or any other devices connected to the same internet connection at home. Currently I am browsing from an iPad connected to the 3G cell phone network as a workaround. I need a more permanent solution, though. I have tried restarting both the router and the modem, and that didn't work. Keep in mind, I live in a family where 3 people are connected to the same network, and we all have the same IP adress. We have our own server that works as a DNS server and according to my dad, the infrastructure of our internet connection is so "complicated" that changing the DNS server is out of the question. We tried shutting off the server so that I would get routed through a "default" DNS server, though that didn't work. So, any ideas? OS: My computer uses Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, the rest of the computers on the network are all Macs. Location: Oslo, Norway ISP: Ventelo AS
Why is your network really complex? Is there any reason for it?
I have no idea. My family have been using this network for years. Oh, and browsing with a proxy works fine.
Use Google DNS on your PC? Go to the 'Network and Sharing Centre', then click 'Change Adapter Settings' on the left. Find the adapter you're using to connect to the internet - right click on it and 'Properties'. Then go to Internet Protocal Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click Properties. Select 'Use the following DNS server addresses', and use the 'Preferred DNS Server' as 8.8.8.8 and the 'Alternate DNS Server' as 8.8.4.4. See if you can access FP. This shouldn't affect your network configuration in your house.

Time to look confused.
Suddenly, for an unknown reason, I'm able to access the forums again normally. Well, that's wierd, but at least my problem is solved now.
Perhaps Facepunch blocked your IP ¯\(°_o)/¯
