The article made a mistake, hitting legendary also removes the perks http://www.bethblog.com/2013/03/04/now-on-steam-skyrim-1-9-beta-update/ "This will reset the skill to 15, return its Perks" [editline]4th March 2013[/editline] at I'm assuming thats what it means by 'returning its perks'
Wow, didn't really see this coming
and I thought Master difficulty was hard enough
and I thought Master difficulty was hard enough
What? I need to play this game on the easiest difficulty. I've allways wondered if this was normal but I couldn't ask my friends due to the emberrasement :v:
what's the point of resetting other than the grace of showing it off and having a challenge to get it all back again
you keep the perks. so by resetting, you can get all perks in the game.
you keep the perks. so by resetting, you can get all perks in the game.
you don't keep the perks. http://www.bethblog.com/2013/03/04/now-on-steam-skyrim-1-9-beta-update/
This will reset the skill to 15, return its Perks and allow the skill to affect leveling again.
so there really is no point?
you don't keep the perks. http://www.bethblog.com/2013/03/04/now-on-steam-skyrim-1-9-beta-update/
then that article is bullshit.
allowing players to keep their perks but reset their point counter to 15 and pursue additional abilities.

then that article is bullshit.
Yes I said that in the first post of this thread.
so there really is no point?
I'm guessing that you can get your levels/stats higher after resetting a skill.
what's the point of resetting other than the grace of showing it off and having a challenge to get it all back again
You just said it. Some people want the challenge. Hence, a more challenging difficulty. Good work!
Bethesda actually released a real patch, FULL OF BUG FIXES? Whoa, i like this Bethesda.
The difficulty levels in skyrim are bullshit. Multiply your enemies damage and negatively multiply your own now your enemies are onehitting damage sponges wow challenge
The difficulty levels in skyrim are bullshit. Multiply your enemies damage and negatively multiply your own now your enemies are onehitting damage sponges wow challenge
I think it was meant for people who have legendary dragonbone armor and weapons facing enemies with at least scaled armor and orcish weapons.
I'm guessing that you can get your levels/stats higher after resetting a skill.
It sets your actual skill at 115 when marked as legendary and perk points are returned to the perk pool. Perk points can then be reapplied to the same skill when you reach the required skill level, or can be redistributed to other skills. So, by the time you retrain to master and reapply all perks, you can expect to have extremely powerful attacks or really cheap magicka costs. [editline]00[/editline] Addendum: Taking into consideration how XP is calculated, using master level weapons or spells, expect to relevel extremely fast.
If I wanted high all my skills maxed with all the perks I just type stuff into the console.
Skyrim is the definition of how to do difficulty levels in the worst way possible
I'm pretty sure the whole point is so you can continue to level your health/stamina/magicka indefinitely.
Skyrim is the definition of how to do difficulty levels in the worst way possible
TES in general has never been good with that.
Prestige in Skyrim...what has the world come to..
3RD PRESTIGE LIGHT ARMOR 200 K/DR MLG 360 NO ZOOM DRAGON SHOUT
I think Todd Howard saw someone's "Skyrim is the CoD of RPGs" quip and thought it was the best idea since gamebryo
I like the bugfixes, but the Legendary thing is pointless.
General memory and stability improvements
Bethesda sure does have a great sense of humor.
I hope this fixes a lot of the bugs I have with the Thieves Guild quests. Characters not following, even walking away from the objective, scripted scenes never starting.. Really frustrating.
TES in general has never been good with that.
Any game on Gamebryo has never been good with that. Even the Fallouts.
It wasn't hard enough already? Usually when I got to bosses I had to turn the difficulty down a little + save every 2 or 3 hits I got on them.
