Question 2
Will I have to reformat after installing this mobo ? ( My current one is not from the same manufacturer and does not have the same LGA socket. Not sure exactly what mobo I have at the moment )
optional Question:
Is a jump from a Intel Core Duo2 1.86ghz to a Intel Core i3 2.93ghz a big difference ? Will I get a major performance boost ?
it only supports i5 and i7
CPU Type Core i7 (LGA1156)/i5 (LGA1156)
-snip-
From the shop I'm about to buy it says it supports i3, i5 and i7.
And the CPU I'm about to get is a 1156 LGA socket.
I couldn't find the exact same CPU on an english website.
EDIT:

I'm pretty sure it's compatible. They said so themselves.
It's ordered. Can't wait :)
