Hello there Facepunch, finally set my mind to it and I'm going to build a computer. Here's what I've come up so far, my budget is $750 including shipping and taxes. And I live in the USA.
;18242883']Your build is great, don't go with Combine's.
Please point out what's wrong with it.
5770, A-Data, MSI.
;18243337']5770, A-Data, MSI.
What's wrong with a 5770?
What's wrong with MSI?
And what's wrong with A-Data?
5770 costs more and performs worse. Don't pull DX11 because it doesn't matter.
The motherboard you picked is a piece of shit and you know it, it also doesn't come with a warranty.
The A-Data RAM is slower and costs more than the much better RAM he chose in the combo.
DX11 does matter
Wait until later this month, Nvidia will release the GT300's, and the 5XXX series price will go down.
5770 is a big umimprovement from the 4890

why, are you really going to debate 6fps on immature drivers?
Yes. The 5850 is equivalent to a GTX 285, and the 4890 is equivalent to a GTX 280. I don't see how the 5770 is going to be able to come close, even with better drivers.

Example with the 7900 GT:
I am pretty sure the 5850 is not equal to the gtx 285 toms hardware said it was 20% faster.

Yes but it was meant to compete with the GTX 285.
Your build is fine, I would seriously recommend that you buy it.
And it is cheap. :10bux:
Yes but it was meant to compete with the GTX 285.
Competing by totally beating it? Well it is in the same price range isn't it. But more what I was pointing out was that the performance of the gtx 285 =/= to the 5850.

ATI fanboy or what
;18260936']ATI fanboy or what
No but the person who said it is equal in performance to the gtx 285 was wrong. I am not an ati fanboy I do like them but if nvidia offers better performance for my money I will go right ahead with buying it.
