In the news and such. Bills being forced through, major protests, massive killings in Libya, strange UFO (Not alien) sightings. Tsunamis after earthquakes, hurricanes starting up, unprecedented solar flares, EA making shitty games. What the massive fuck? 2011 seems like it's going to be a shitty year. I refuse to give into the horse shit of 2012, but I must admit all of this is a little bit freaky.
Thus far this has been a fairly normal year. [editline]13th March 2011[/editline] Apart from a few uprisings.
Shit happens.
Welcome to the planet Earth. Enjoy your stay, as it may not last long.
Tsunamis after earthquakes, hurricanes starting up, unprecedented solar flares, EA making shitty games.
You know its bad when making shitty video games is in the same category as earthquakes and hurricanes.
I lol'd at the "EA making shitty games" but honestly, it's just the way life carries on. We have to make it through this year and 2012 and then (hopefully) by 2013 everything will be back to normal.
Shit happens... :v: Aww fuck, free clocks for me.
Well sometimes you just get one of those insanely unlucky years. Feces occurs.

It's like we want it to happen.
***BREAKING*** Due to Japan's tectonic and geographical location, Tsunamis are inevitable and are common in the nation's history! ***Breaking*** The sun sends out hundreds of solar flare per year, the largest flare having been four years ago! ***Breaking*** People are killed in civil wars due to differences in standings and beliefs and casualties are normally high when a civil war occurs! ***Breaking*** It is nature to fight back when oppressed and in enough numbers which can be clearly seen in the Egypt Protests! etc.
Yes, Japan is destroyed every year and there have been massive uprisings all the time.
*inevitable and are common in the nation's history! =/= Annual. [editline]12th March 2011[/editline] And revolutions come in waves. One person starts it, then others do it.
Oh god, The human race is just getting greedy and natural disasters are well.. Natural.
It just seems freaky because of lightning fast communication. Because of internet and television, you see all of the bad things that happen in the world and not just the few bad things that happen in your region. If you lived before the telegraph, it could have taken months or years before you learn of events that happened in other parts of the world.
Yes, Japan is destroyed every year and there have been massive uprisings all the time.
Dude, our planet is freaking unstable. People have hated other people since that start of time, and there has never been a moment of utter peace across the entire planet, ever. We live on huge slabs of rock floating on molten rock, and they tend to crash into each other and cause volcanoes, earthquakes, and tsunamis. The sun could, at any moment, release a solar flare large enough to wipe out our entire technological base and send us back to the 1800s. Basically, deal with it.
Yeah but nothing was freaky last year.
Oh besides massive earth quakes like three months in a row.
Well at least a shitload of good games are coming out this year? Assuming they aren't pushed back to 2012.
I TOLD YOU BRO, I TOLD YOU ABOUT JUDGMENT DAY cc
Good things happen a lot, too. You just don't hear about them because they usually aren't as exciting.
Sensationalism
Sensationalism
Sensationalism is a manner of over-hyping events, being deliberately controversial, loud, self-centred or acting to obtain attention. ... What the fuck are you talking about? I'm not being deliberately controversial or loud, self centered. I'm just listing events that have happened, not being Fox News. Go away Webster.

When everything's dark, light your mind with booze.
Are you saying it isn't normal for tsunamis to happen after earthquakes in the sea?
This shit just 'aint natural!
It's like every other year.
another bad thing just happened... you made a thread
I lol'd ^_^
:frog:
Aside from the uprising in some Arab states, things are pretty normal. Earthquakes is very common in Japan and a big one tend to hit every few decades, UFO sightings isn't necessarily bad, solar energy output has high's and low's, and EA is always putting out some shitty games.
