Nigeria is expected to be declared officially free of Ebola on Monday, after six weeks with no new cases.
Africa's most populous country won praise for its swift response after an infected Liberian diplomat brought the disease there in July.
The World Health Organization (WHO) officially declared Senegal Ebola-free on Friday.
No, but clearly it's going to become an epidemic in a first-world country, guys!
This is good news, hopefully the other areas hit by Ebola can see a reduction of cases soon.
Feel free to correct me if im wrong, but was Ebola just overblown by the Media? There's been like 3 posts with people not actually having Ebola etc
I hope their prince is okay, he still haven't paid me back after i shared some money to unfreeze his bank account.

I bet he started this outbreak to get out of it.
yes this means we shouldnt take it seriously in first world countries i agree 100 percent
Didn't even hint at that, but thanks for putting words in my mouth. All I said was that the people going on about how Ebola is going to ravage America are fucking stupid, not that we should do anything to contain it.

Don't say that too loud or TheTalon will come into this thread.

No one's saying that, but there's absolutely no reason to think ebola (in its current form at least) could successfully spread in a first world country. Not because we don't take it seriously, but because we actually do have the resources to handle the disease seriously.

It's the same shit with any deadly disease outbreak pretty much.
swine flu was pretty much the exact same shit, people panicking over something that wasn't a huge problem in developed countries. I mean sure it's not exactly something to be ignored but its in no way going to be the end of civilization

It's not a matter of it being an epidemic, it's the fact that the guy with ebola sat in the emergency room for three hours and then when they finally got to him, the nurse's neck was exposed. Same thing happened with the plane guy, the suit wasn't fully zipped up.
We're fucking incompetent. Imagine if something serious actually happened.

Remember the black death? Only about 200 million people died.
Even that civilization survived.
Good to hear, I was worried about my uncle over there.
the peoe who think ebola would cause a massive epidemic in any first world country proabaly don't have any idea how shitty the mass majority of people living in africa have it
