How do you screw up this badly?
"With the money you saved from that discount, you could buy a toy for your chi-.
Sorry."
SHIET. The kid was found my joke doesn't work
Your child is worth $7 and only $7
LOL. What the fuck? Talk about insulting.
They probably just gave the money back she paid for the day, sensationalism.
you should have added this part for clarification purposes:
The distressed mother, who asked to remain anonymous, said her son was missing for at least one hour after wandering off from the Helping Hands Network after-school care group at the Worongary State School between activities earlier this month.
I'm starting to realise that compensation is a "go big or go home" thing. If a daycare center loses a child, it's bad and they get shit for it. If they offer some small form of compensation, they get twice as much shit for being cheap.

It's the same as tiping a waiter 1 cent. 1 cent is more than nothing, but it is the fact that you acknowledge there's a thing called tiping by tiping them, and that you think their service worths so little that you decide to tip them just one cent. If you don't tip anything it could be many other things like you could've forgotten or you just don't felt like it, but if you tip one cent you're just telling that person "this is how much I think your service is worth, and it's very little".
And yet more wonderfully positive media for the Gold Coast. No wonder half of my clients come up north to buy property after exploring the Gold Coast.
Keep on trucking Goldie.

You made it sound like she was given a $7 off coupon.
Take that $7 and buy some lube with it. Make a new one!
or buy a leash for your kid. then you'll never lose him
