That is what I am looking for. [editline]22nd April 2011[/editline] I just validated Portal 2 and 1 file did not work. I have good reason to believe that 1 file is the 'vo' file.
dumb
All the sounds are in .bik format. You need to download the official Bink and Smacker conversion tool. http://radgametools.com/down/Bink/RADTools.exe Sounds are located in the Portal 2 folder itself in common and in the VPK.
The sound files are in .wav format in the sounds file in pak01_dir, the biks are videos.
I don't know where the hell you're looking, they're all in I:\Steam\steamapps\common\portal 2\portal2\pak01_dir.vpk As .wav files
All the sounds are in .bik format.
Not. Enough. Boxes. [editline]23rd April 2011[/editline]
I don't know where the hell you're looking, they're all in \Steam\steamapps\common\portal 2\portal2\pak01_dir.vpk As .wav files
I've tried opening the vpks in GCFscape, but nothing is in them. any help?
I've tried opening the vpks in GCFscape, but nothing is in them. any help?
Verify integrity of Portal 2.
I verified and there's 1 file that did not verify. (I assume is the 'vo' file in sounds inside the .vpk because they do not play anything, everything else is fine)
pak01_dir is the only vpk with stuff in it
If you want the credits song, you can download the credits song here: http://filesmelt.com/dl/GlaDOS_-_Want_You_Gone.mp3
