Hello, Facepunch.
It's me and I am on my new rig right now.
Also, thanks again to those that helped me choose parts and answer my questions.
I have two problems right now:
1) I tried to install Mcafee for free using my Comcast account, but I get a weird error. It said something was wrong with an adapter named "CIMA*blahblahblah"
*forgot what it said
2) I do not get any audio from my computer. I am trying to use the integrated speakers in my monitor. Any suggestions?
Thanks
First off don't use McAfee. It's the shittiest anti-virus you can get.
Get AntiViri or Cloud Anti-Virus. Both found on Filehippo.com.

1. Don't use Mcafee use Avast!: http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html
2. Did you plug in the wire that came with the monitor?
1. I agree with the others, don't use McAfee even if it's free, use something like Avast! or Avira which are also free and better.
2. Did you install the audio drivers for your motherboard?
Both are free too.
You broke my automerge...

:saddowns:
2. Yes, the audio cable thing. Anyway, is it because I did not install the disk that the monitor came with?
1. Sigh... computer illiterate parents and family members (besides a few) want me to use big-brand names like Mcafee or Norton (I won't use Norton, do not worry). Please do not try to convince me to change to Avast because I want to use Avast already. Anyway, I had Mcafee on my last PC and it was fine.
Can you please help me resolve this issue?
Edit:
Downloading Avast right now.
I will post back if the audio is still disfunctional even after installing drivers.
Love you PC Builder guys!

No, analog speakers don't need any drivers, you just need the drivers for your onboard audio.

Tell them (read: lie) that Avast is owned by McAfee :clint:
Guys, stop flaming parents, I enjoy it though. It's funny.
Anyway, I'm getting Avast.

I'm sleepy, too. I feel for you.
Anyway, no luck on audio yet.
I put in the disk for the monitor and the motherboard to install the drivers.
No sound.
Should I try restarting computer? I think I restarted it after installing the drivers... I'll try that and get back to you guys soon.

Try going to your motherboard's manufacturer's website and download the audio drivers. Also, do you have headphones or anything plugged in? A stupid mistake I did one time is that I had my headset plugged in when I was testing the audio on the PC. took me 2 hours of messing around before I noticed. Just a little note.
