Hopefully this new CEO can bring EA back to 2008 EA when it was making new IPs and taking chances.

that's not even really an issue, there's never been any sort of reports on ea losing money because of greedy execs.
they're losing money because they're losing business and investors are starting to not want to throw money at them, so their stocks are dropping like fuck.

Oh, I know that. I'm just saying that for what they're doing, I feel like you could keep many workers if you just lowered the salaries of the higher-ups who don't deserve it.

you're not going to keep sections of your business that aren't making money. yes drop the salaries of the higher ups to keep the workers but it still doesn't excuse the fact that those sections aren't going to be worth it in being a profitable business
It's pretty sad that employees are going to lose their jobs for shitty CEO/business decisions.
