My PSU is on the verge of death, so can someone recommend me a good 500W - 550W PSU under 30$?
NewEgg or TigerDirect is fine.
AMD Athlon 64 5200+ Black Edition 2.71Gz Dual-Core
ECS Geforce6100PM-M2 V2.0
2 Gigs of Ram
8400GS 512 VRAM
DVD Drive
3 Hard Drives (1x 160 2x 500 GB)
Windows 7 Pro 32bit
You are NEVER getting a good 500W PSU for under 30 $.
It'll probably last you a few months while decreasing your GPU and CPU performance while it's in.
I have a 8400 GS, so, I don't think it will matter anyway, I just need something that will last me until I get a job.
What about this one?

My birthday just passed, so I might be able to get a bit more. Maybe.
If you have an 8400 then its probably a better idea to go for a good quality 400W PSU rather than a low quality 500W.
I have a good quality 550W PSU with a GTX 295 and I don't get any problems with performance, people overestimate the wattage you need a lot.
Or you invest in a good future ready PSU now (700 watt ish) and are ready for a new gpu
I'll Post my full specs.

Had this one for a while, and it worked great for the time I had it. About nine months. Then I upgraded and needed a better one.

I've had three Logisys power supplies, and zero problems with them.

Most of the time if you're going after a cheap power supply and you don't find any PCI-E power connectors from the PSU, it can't operate on it's full rated wattage for long.
As you ain't suposed to be using Molex -> PCI-E power adapters because if you don't have any of those by default the PSU isn't most likely been meant to operate any graphics card that uses that type of connectors as it might not be able to respond to quick power draw variations without dropping voltage due to insufficient components used inside the PSU or not even able to outputs it's full rated wattage without shitting itself.
Alot of the cheap PSUs are built with underrated components or just generally poor quality components.
But yea here's my suggestion even though it's abit more than your budget.

It's 15$ over your budget but it's real quality PSU.

This.
But the only quality PSU you will get in budget will probably be this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371003
Well, I would like something I can use for a while, but I do have 9600GSO, which needs a 500W PSU. I'll have to see how much I can get, maybe my dad will give me something.
OP is funny. :v:
Why haven't anyone suggested the Antec Basiq yet? It'll run those components just fine, while being a qaulity PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371003&cm_re=antec_basiq-_-17-371-003-_-Product
They did, 3 posts up.
