Chrome is acting odd. It's randomly slowing down and freezing up. Just now, it started to look all staticy. In fact, it's happening right now.

It's acting like static, always moving and changing. It just started today. Anyone who what happened and how to fix it?
Uninstall Chrome
Install Chrome again.
Also, i got no idea if Chrome has a "safety" mode. So it turns every addon off. Maybe they're fucking your browser up
Now if that doesn't work, try this:
Uninstall Chrome
Install Firefox
I just realized that I have the same problem in Blender 3d. Is this a hardware problem?

Firefox as well.
Most likely your GPU is on it's way to graveyard.
Because Firefox, Blender 3d and Chrome(Not sure?) use GPU accelration in drawing the UI and contents.
But you could try uninstalling your drivers with driver sweeper and then reinstalling them and also post your temperatures because artifacts can be caused by overheating too.
I tried to do what I should have done in the first place. Restart my computer. If this happens again, then I'll know it's my GPU, right?
You guys wouldn't happen to be on ATI cards, would you?
If so would you happen to be running radeonpro? I had problems with certain apps freezing up like that in the past. Removing radeonpro fixed it.
Also, right now, my GPU is at 62 degrees Celsius.

Let me guess, this is only on threadview pages but not on http://www.facepunch.com/forum.php or something else that doesn't have CSS3 animations (thus hardware accelerated) / spinning images?
its called GPU artifacts
its usually caused by overheated GPU memory but the processor can also be affected
has your GPU gone rather hot recently?
it does not have to be hot right now for it to artifact
do a driver reinstall just to be sure

If that does not work, try adding –disable-accelerated-compositing to the startup flags for Chrome.
