www.originpc.com These guys build insane custom computers. They overclock up to 4.5GHz! The $7669.00 "Big O" is both an insane pc and an xbox 360 slim fully watercooled. Desktops start at $1,331 Laptops start at $1,651 The EON 17 laptop can have a freaking 3.33GHz 980x :psyduck:
Still. Waste of money. Also, you can overclock to 4.5Ghz on your own if you know what you are doing.
Haha, you get a free shirt with your order and it defaults to extra large.
We had a thread on this weeks ago.
Moar boxes!

Final score: $26,771.99
There are so many things wrong with that picture, it's not even funny. Why is there a huge margin between the PII and the i7 in gaming? There's barely any discernible difference in that area. Why are the i5 and PII lacking in the audio section? Are gamers going to be doing audio work that requires intense CPU cycles (which could easily be solved by doing something proper like getting a dedicated sound card) or something? Why is there a huge margin between multitasking on the i5/PII and the i7?
I meant the pricing honestly.
It's seems that they just added $1000 to the normal prices
I just noticed that's for the CPU only. That can't be right, can it? :gonk:
1000$+ for an i5 lynnfield. fuck off.

 get out
That's not an Origin. THIS is an origin. That just a wanna-be.
no I said that the CPU was looking great untill I saw they where asking 1000$ for it
You could buy an entire gaming desktop for that price that can run any game on max basically.

This is even more ripoff than alienware. For 1k$ I can build a computer, and all they offer for that price is a cpu? Get out
Well, If you have the money and computers are your thing. More can be spent on a Single Monitor speaker for a studio. (A Genelec 1036A will run you about $40,000)
no I said that the CPU was looking great untill I saw they where asking 1000$ for it
That's not the price for the cpu dumbass, that's the base price of the whole system. CPU + the harddrive 5670 gpu dvd drive etc
That's not the price for the cpu dumbass
Calm down, bro.
Haha, you get a free shirt with your order and it defaults to extra large.
It expects only bodybuilders obviously
I wonder who the fuck would pay that much for a CPU
The max I would pay for a CPU is 150 for a budget build and 500 for a more enthusiast build.
Sager makes ORIGIN look like a joke.
Wait...1,000 dollars for an i5? Dear god, and people say Alienware is bad
The max I would pay for a CPU is 150 for a budget build and 500 for a more enthusiast build.
ORIGIN is as enthusiast as it gets.
Sager makes ORIGIN look like a joke.
:byodood: [editline]12th October 2010[/editline]
ORIGIN is as enthusiast as it gets.
No its not, its just overpriced to fuckin' hell.
