11 years in the making and they have to nerf a class that comes along after release?
How does that happen?
I'm not saying the same is back, but how do they develop something that long, and lose track of which class does what against which?
Not very organized, if you ask me, then again I guess it's a big game.
Man, Shack News is sucking away at Diablo 3's dick. They make at least 3 articles about it every day.
So they are going to make my monk even weaker.
Boon of protection is almost always the reason i survive an encounter with elite mobs with crazy buffs.
At least they're nerfing Wizard too, mage classes have historically been overpowered in Diablo games.

Being a wizard, I am happy for the nerf.. They were way too overpowered with force armor. Now I actually feel like I'm as good as the other classes, and not hella overpowered.
How is act 2 inferno even possible now for any wizard
I think the message Blizzard is sending is "play Demon Hunter"

There's the changelog.
Healing people and actually being USEFUL was the only reason I played Monk.
Time to level my Demon Hunter.
God fucking dammit I just started working on a monk too and they're so much fun :suicide:

Really? Demon hunter is the most common class I see.

Wait, so let's completely set aside the fact that this is a very high profile game
that this is a news site for games
that it would be perfectly logical to post news relative for the public interests to pull in views
and accuse the website of sucking Diablo III's metaphorical dick.
Shall we also throw in that RPS loves sucking off Minecraft's blocky dicks and Skyrim's dragon dildos?
But it was this overpowered rune that made Monk viable in D3. They should be buffing Barbarian not nerfing Monk.
I'm glad they used their beta to fix stuff like this.
Buffing Barbarian? What are you talking about. The barbarian is tough and strong as it is. I can solo pretty much anything and have no problems. I love my barb. Just treat him well and buy him new gear off of the AH and you'll be A-Okay.

Farming nightmare going well then?
Yeah the champ abilities on nightmare all seem to be AOE or lasers or molten chains some shit that will kill barbs more than anyone else, it really sucks.
"Maybe we're wrong, maybe there's no current chance for monk or barbarian to compete with ranged, but our current suspicion is that's incorrect and until we know for sure we're not going to turn any dials."
Yeah, don't turn any dials. Like the ones you just turned, without notice, to the Monk, and Wizzard. The ones that almost single handedly dictate whether a Monk or Wizzard can even survive in Inferno mode. Not only that you didn't even bother to update the fucking tooltips that describe the skills
The Nerf to DH isn't too drastic, but it's still stupid. Blizzard went on and on about how all builds can be viable and variety is great and will separate your characters from other characters. And that's bullshit. We're forced to go one of two directions, period. And since those directions work, Blizzard is going Oh no no wait a minute, no fuck that you guys are clever, no we're taking that away, too. Hell to survive in Inferno mode on my Barbarian I have to run around generating fury with War Cry and ground stomp, then spam the fuck out of Seismic Slam. It works, so I know it'll be nerfed too
Real men play Witch Doctors.
Never ending army of bears with voodoo rain dance and vision quest.
And WD are really good at soloing inferno.

Straight from the wiki.

Maybe you should find deeper research then editable wiki articles.
The game Diablo 3 as we know it today started development around 2007, the game prior was almost entirely different and had a different team on it.
