Hello, I've just started having a problem with my PS3, I can't sign into PSN at all I keep getting error 80710B23 I've googled it, but all of the hits are old threads from 2009 some of them have helpful info, but I've tried all methods I found and none are working I went into my isp's control page (Verizon, by the way), and my PS3's name seems to be new-host under port forwarding, there are no rules for new-host, but there are a bunch for new-host-2 that are all unresolved, saying "hostname resolution failed" i've tried marking them for deletion and clicking apply, but they don't disappear i'm not sure what else I can do, can anyone help me out? [editline]5th October 2013[/editline] figured out how to delete the rules, problem still persists
okay, so i've deleted the port forwarding rules for new-host-2, and i'm reassigning them back to new-host, i think that might work but i can't make many of the rules for ps3's required ports, because they are already made for my actual computer these are the ports i need to open for my ps3, but are already tied to my computer TCP 80 TCP 443 TCP 5223 UDP 3478 UDP 3479 UDP 3658 is it safe to unassign them from my computer so i can put them on my ps3?
You should be able to open a port for 2 IP addresses. Just creating the same rule and put the ps3 IP address
