This is the Rubik's cube project I'm working on, it's still a WIP, but I'm getting closer...

Tell me what you think.
Nice dude, but there must be another way to stop the cube from falling out

A better base should fix that.
I figured out the problem, and I hate myself for this. There was a bit of code that I thought reset the devices in the motors that record rotations, but the code actually turned off the precision. After I removed that code, I was able to make it five times faster. And it doesn't drop the cube anymore.
how are you solving the cube
what method?
What would I have to buy to build evil robots of my own? I've seen Mindstorm sets or whatever, but I don't know where to start. I'm experienced in several programming languages (Even though I'm pretty much abysmal when it comes to hardware), if that helps.
In the first video, theres a little camera on the hand flipping the cube, which records the colors of each side, and it uses that to tell whats on each side.
