Im trying to get money for a new pc, though i only have £600 to spend, i don't need something amazing, just something with medium quality parts, the things i don't need are a graphics card[salvaging] and a HDD, though if you can get a HDD over 250GB i might, and get a nice looking case that i can spend a little more on.Thanks. also i don't need an OS or a screen or anything external for that matter. P.S first time i'll be building a pc v:3:v also first poster get's a marshmallow covered in cookie chunks.
Current GPU and monitor resolution please
Current GPU and monitor resolution please
Monitor: 1024x768 GPU:8800GTS [not arrived yet] also hoping to get a bigger monitor soon
At £600, you can do better than a 8800. Considering you don't need an OS or Monitor, you should be able to get a 5770/460 within budget. When you say that your 8800GTS hasn't arrived, could it be refunded? It would probably hold you back, more so if you were to get a bigger monitor like you mentioned.

Good build. [editline]01:12PM[/editline] I second it
Manly Approved
You've said this before, what does it mean?
just "approved" or "I second this" if you want. Sorry for if I suck sometimes in English
just "approved" or "I second this" if you want. Sorry for if I suck sometimes in English
I think you meant "Mainly" rather than "Manly approved" as it sounds like its been approved by manly men.
Manly men approve nice builds :smug:

BTW not going to get this for a while but still getting this build, if you could make any improvements with that money from the DVD/R drive i would appreciate it. Actually, it's only £8.00 so might aswell, IM using XP pro btw but i might upgrade to 7 on this build real soon  Never even noticed 300 POSTS! :woop::woop: Never realised how much you could get for £600
And thanks to your build I managed to knock a good £90 off my build. It's a win-win for both of us :v:

Flubbernugget, what do you mean you are not gonna get this build for a while? If it is more than a month you kind of made this thread too early. Prices change a lot. Heck, 9800GTs dropped by like 50% on Newegg (America).

Ok as long as it isn't more than a month. Especially since some new ATi cards are going to be released a little later, which might cause price drops. That means you can get better cards for a lower price.
