I made this little graphic for our Facebook group, however when I upload the image to the internet, the text "Witchcraft" comes up with some pixelation in the gradient, which kinda ruins the effect. It's only noticeable if you're looking for it but is there any way around it? The image on my computer does not have the same pixelation.
Uploading pictures to facebook get compressed, so there isn't really much you can do.
Try saving as jpg, and reducing the quality.
It's just annoying as thats the only part of the image that you can notice it on. Damn facebook.
I forget the name of the effect but gradients and shadows do that when compressed.

The silvery text has a gradient too but I can't notice any pixelation on that, must be because the gradient is much more subtle.
Use the Save For Web feature and try to mess with the settings a bit.

Facebook sucks for images. I uploaded a super high-quality .png and after their compression I couldn't even make out what it was.
The bigger the file size, the more facebook will rape your image, save it at a smaller res, then save it for web and compress it yourself using Photoshop. If facebook doesn't need to compress your image, it wont.
