Ever since I crashed in Penumbra a while ago, my computer has been suffering some wierd issues. For one, the system gamma was altered to that of Penumbra's. While I managed to fix the gamma, I didn't manage to fix the graphics fuckup that followed. In pretty much every application, whenever there is fast movement between colors, I get this "color lag", where the color lags behind an object. My screen also shakes occasionally, for instance when logging in or opening FireFox for the first time in a session.
While running around:

Standing still:

I did a reinstall of Windows and removed my windows.old folder, got new GPU drivers and all that jazz, but its still messed up.
Any ideas?
Download HWmonitor and post your temps.

TF2 is in idle thats why the GPU is a bit high..
Temps look fine to me..
How bad was the penumbra crash? was it a system wide one?
if it was, my gpu had a similar problem and it had to be replaced. Do you have a spare gpu lying around to test if the artifacting preserves through cards?
You can try uninstalling and reinstalling your video drivers, that should reset any settings.
It was a system wide crash. I already did uninstall my video drivers, and I don't have a spare GPU.
have you tried reseating the video card or swapping which slot it's in?
Do you have the right refresh rate set in the CCC?
I have 60HZ in CCC, and I have not yet tried reseating the card.. Might do that later.

At the welcome screen, my screen flashes for a moment and then gets the wierd colors even on startup. I think it might have something to do with settings being loaded after the pc boots.
However, I noticed I "fps-drop" pretty bad in Garrys Mod, objects do not render properly when spawning aswell. I also just reseated the card to no avail.
Do you get weird colors in POST or BIOS? If so something in your card is broken, or the cable you're using (vga, dvi) isn't working properly.
It doesn't look odd in BIOS, mainly because its a static picture. With moving colors hell breaks loose.
Probably a monitor problem, do these show up in screenshots?
Nope, that's why I took it with my phone.
But I get FPS drops too, especially when standing in bright areas or looking at them in GMOD or SC:C
Can you try using a different monitor? The fps drop and the color problems could be unrelated.
Unfortunately I can't.. Would TeamViewer work?
