_Teletubbies Returning_ (Probably late but I only found out while looking through the source of the Sun Actress)
The show's original narrator was playwright and former actor Tim Whitnall The Teletubbies are to return to CBeebies with a new series - the first produced since 2001. The BBC has ordered 60 new episodes of the show featuring Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po. The series will be filmed on a replica set - instead of its original location in Warwickshire - and "enhanced by CGI" to give it a more "contemporary look". Teletubbies ran for 365 episodes from March 1997 to January 2001 and became a worldwide phenomenon. The show has been broadcast in more than 120 countries in 45 languages. The commission comes after Canadian company DHX Media acquired Ragdoll Worldwide - which produced the original series - last September.
http://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-27834804 _Sun Actress_
A student has broken a 19-year silence and revealed she was the iconic sun baby in hit TV show Teletubbies. Jess Smith, from Chatham, Kent, was selected to be the giggling baby sun who looks over Teletubbyland when she was just nine months old. The show was a global hit and Miss Smith, a first-year dance education student at Canterbury Christ Church University, became one of the most famous faces in the world - but only her family knew it was her. There were rumours the true identity of the baby was another Jessica Smith - the 27-year-old star of American teen soap Laguna Beach. But Miss Smith has finally gone public and spoken for the first time about her role in the TV show which featured characters Tinky-Winky, Dipsy, Laa Laa and Po. Oh god no Children don't deserve that
cgi teletubbies is going to be horrible, along with every other kids show they turned into cgi these days
That's a hot Sun you got there.
Sun-girl looks like the sun-baby still.
Reminds me when North Korea considered to broadcast Teletubbies :v: [t]http://i.imgur.com/AZSn9Tl.png[/t] And to be honest i don't think CGI is good idea one way or another. Even if it'd turn out good then still 'Teletubbies' are going to lose their old charm...
It was inevitable, all classic kids shows will eventually get turned into CGI. For example, Bob The Builder, Fireman Sam, Postman Pat, Banana's in Pajama's, Thomas the Tank Engine and plenty more are already CGI.

Teletubbies 2: Rise of Noo-Noo.
Imagine the bear and the lion in 3D. Not even real animals; they're still the sentient mobile wooden cutouts.

But the original could be said to be "enhanced with CGI" too. It just wasn't very advanced. pls no cgi lion and the bear though I might cry myself to sleep from the nightmares. the original's scary enough thx ;_;
