Or hows about this? I'm pretty much stuck doing 6 week summer courses for college and have become a complete and total shut-in for about 6 weeks.
Which kettlebell should I get?
Should I even be lifting at all right now?
Those are my questions.
Any kettlebells of the weight you feel would give you a good workout and yes you should be lifting, outside of legitimate and serious health problems, there's little reason to NOT lift.
Kettlebells are my SHIT, they're a killer workout in themselves, and they're even better when you pair them with lifting. Great compound movements, if you just do kettlebells every day you'll get in really good shape, just won't see many actual gains. Depending on how strong you are currently, a good general starting point is 15-20lbs or so.
for clarification; kettlebell workouts are more conditioning work, not strength training. like said before you will get in better shape but your won't really get much stronger.
Get a barbell instead
Like others have said it depends if you're just trying to get into better shape or you're trying to get stronger?
just get a gym membership
