• How to stay focused for about 4 hours of Math?

So these test-exams are coming up tomorrow. And it's math. We have to do 1 hour of basic calculations on paper, then 3 hours of work on the computer (in Mathcad). I suck horribly at math but I'm one of the best at everything else (on a 1-10 scale, I'd get about 5-6 at math). I also suck horribly when working under peer pressure. I usually use about 5-6 hours on doing the computer work in my own and nice environment at home but now we have to do it on the lazy schoolcomputers in a room full of my somewhat smelly class. And I have 3 hours. We're allowed to bring ANYTHING we want to school, with the only exception being our own laptops (because you know, they're so new that they could hook upto the internet and download math hacks!). Definitely going to bring some sweets to give me a quick sugar boost, but does Facepunch have a good idea for something that can help me keep focus for 4 hours of math?
You suck at math so don't even try. Smoke Mary Jane and dgaf the whole time bro, works everytime.
Bring an iPod or phone with internet access to look stuff up you don't know.
Also, bring one of those "fancy" calculators, like a TI-84 if you have one. It can graph equations (be careful of scaling) and has many hidden features, like calculating a decimal into a fraction and so forth. Also, energy drinks are usually a nice thing to bring to these tests of mental endurance.
Since you can bring anything, bring a gun and persuade the teacher to give you good grades.

Give it the info it needs and it'll calculate for you. I'm not sure if we're allowed to use a calculator for the first 1 hour of maths on paper but I'll bring it in case we can. Also if we bring even our phones into the classroom tomorrow, we get thrown out and sent home. So bringing my iPhone / iPad probably isn't the best thing to do.
bring a pocket full of legos and take them out every 20 minutes to build a structure and give your brain a rest, there is no way you can concentrate for 4 hours MULTIPLAYER MODE tell your friend to do the same and have a round of building every 20 minutes, see who creates the best structure (atleast that's what i would do)
> Kill self.
Alright, heading to bed now. This will be the last post on here until I come home again. I'll tell how it went. Also I'm so bringing a small LEGO set with me. I have plenty that I haven't built. [editline]13th December 2011[/editline] Wish me luck. Going to be tough.
If you suck at it now, it's going to snowball on you later. Read everything carefully, and if you don't understand it then move back until you do, then proceed. I find that the best incentive I can use in order to get through studying is that it will be worth it in the end. Because in my case it's university, not sure for you though. [editline]13th December 2011[/editline] Edit: Oh, it's practical work. Since it's work, just do it and get it out of the way. If you can't deal with it then why even try and do it in the first place. The quicker you do it, the quicker you're out of there. I'd suggest that (Possibly for the future if you don't read this by the time you leave) since you can bring anything, finish everything and if you can't leave when you're done, bring an iPod touch if you have one or something to play or listen to music, or sleep.
Slightly cock your head to the side, while resting your chin firmly in the palm of your hand. Have your elbow on the desk. Your other hand should be going cross body on the desk. Observe your surroundings until you spot an attractive female and proceed to stare at her chest, and/or buttocks and picture yourself doing wild and dirty things to her in the middle of class. This is what I used to do, but then again I failed math pretty bad. I don't think there's a connection.
Go to Command Prompt > type in shutdown -i > click shutdown > add computers > pick someone's computer in the class to shutdown while in the middle of the test > sit back and enjoy someone go into a all caps rage

Whoops, didn't see that people were still posting here. The first one hour math-test went like shit. I felt I only answered like, 50-60% of the questions. The big 3 hour math-test on cmputer went pretty well though. Seems like I answered all questions. We have to wait to after Christmas before we get the results. Heh, I should bump this with the results once I get them. Also I have to try that shutdown thing. I remember doing shit like that in commandoprompt at 6'th grade. Never laughed so much before.
