If you want to learn how to play fighting games, this game has one of the best tutorials.
Is it as good as many people say about it, Or is it just because of the characters?
Is it as good as many people say about it, Or is it just because of the characters?
both
If I click the link to download it I just get sent to the store page.
is it best to play this with a PS3 plugin controller or keyboard?
Is it as good as many people say about it, Or is it just because of the characters?
I think the characters are weird but it's a good fighting game.
The characters put me off of getting this one but now is a good time to check it out I suppose.
is it best to play this with a PS3 plugin controller or keyboard?
Fightstick > PS360 controller > Keyboard
Remember people, restart Steam so you can install it. I wonder when Steam will fix this annoying bug.
What's so good about this game? It's getting praised a lot, apparently.
What's so good about this game? It's getting praised a lot, apparently.
Solid fighting game that's a bit easier to get into with actual tutorials, crazy detailed animations, varied character choices and cheap to boot.
is there a nude mod?
Aw, I feel like an idiot, I accidentally chose rebind all keys and now I can't figure out how to get through the menus.
If you want to learn how to play fighting games, this game has one of the best tutorials.
i wonder why people keep saying this, has no one ever played an arcsys game? they have tutorials that work exactly the same way and are sometimes even better. it's not like skullgirls has a bad tutorial but it's not particularly great either.

Not to say that Arcsys has bad tutorials, but they're less generalized like they are in this.
Is it worth the money?
Is it worth the money?
If you're into fighters, than of course it is.
Thanks, I may pick it up.
Fightstick > PS360 controller > Keyboard
I can't talk shit about controllers anymore I know two really good players who use controllers and they kick my shit in any day of the week [editline]15th November 2013[/editline] Anyway, fighting games require effort to get good at. You need to put in the time to spar against people and get combo execution down. I see a lot of beginners lose a game and then quit. (possibly uninstall) There is a Skullgirls thread on FP in GGD anywho, should be on first or second page
Is it a game that people spend a lot of time with? I like games that I can play for hours on end before getting tired of. Hell, I've played Dark Souls for like, 80 hours and still haven't beaten it yet.

Well in terms of long time play, fighting games have a lot of depth but keep in mind they're very community based so you need to find a group or something to play with. Otherwise yes it's possible to play long sets of like 20-30 games without getting bored if you enjoy the game

Play it on and off and it'll last a really long time.
so, after a day of playing skullgirls, I can conclude that I am, in fact, pretty bad at skullgirls. it's a refreshing kind of bad though. the game discourages you from button mashing by teaching you advanced combos. unfortunately I have a horrible memory, so I wound up mashing buttons anyways. still, it's pretty fun.
if you learn how to play skullgirls you'll pretty much learn the basics of every fighting game out there. the combos and stuff will mostly translate to faster games though like marvel or guilty gear.
If I click the link to download it I just get sent to the store page.
It'll be in your steam library for the duration of the "Free Weekend" event.
The characters put me off of getting this one but now is a good time to check it out I suppose.
The characters are literally just wankbait that only perpetuates the thought that all game designers are losers that make women to jerk over...
