Sounds similar to Knight Online, dunno how it'll work out in the end though.
I refuse to let myself get hyped knowing last time I did it was for SWTOR. While it was great at first, didn't live up to the hype I gave it. I'm hoping to think of this as another generic MMO and hope to be surprised when released.
Unless they've overhauled the game since the last beta test, I have 0 hype for this.
It really, really just doesn't play like an Elder Scrolls game. I went in there and the first thing that happened was pretty much "You want loot? Lol fuck you."

I love Elder scrolls as much as the next guy, but people fail to realize this isn't gonna be a copy paste Elder scrolls game. Its literally a MMO that is using Elder Scrolls lore, we'll see aspects from other games here and there. But it isn't going to be the same game everyone think it is going to be.

That doesn't make things any better for it considering how it's a mediocre MMO as well.

I'm going to reserve judgement for when the game comes out. Simply because in the mmo world literally anything can change or be changed. What a MMO is on its first release day/month can be completely different from a few months to a year down the road.
.
I liked SWTOR up until the endgame, then I got bored. I might come back to it in a year or 2 if it lasts that long.
I think the biggest reason it's going to fail is because it doesn't know what it wants to be. Combining an MMO with a game like Skyrim is almost like mixing oil with water, its not going to mix well. The people wanting to play this are going to split, one half wanting another Elder Scrolls RPG while another wants a MMO. They can't find the right balance for the two genres and I feel that they are going to ruin the game by trying to appeal to two different audiences at the same time and end up not making either happy.

But it isn't using the Elder scrolls lore, so what does it make it if doesn't play or resemble the world of the elder scrolls?

Stress test beta opening Jan 10th, Il see for myself how the game is. Im pretty sure Cyrodiil is going to resemble Oblivion's Cyrodiil a lot.

I mean, I don't know how they managed it, but I'm pretty sure that the Elder Scrolls themselves are used as clan buff items.

It's not really using the Elder Scrolls lore when it gets everything wrong.
