• Medical marijuana for migraines?

Hello DD, i've had a history of migraines for as long as I can remember. It's not like I get them everyday though, but I get these series of attacks that can last for just a day, to a week, or even a month. But it just hit me, is it possible to get medical marijuana for something like this? thanks guys. Edit: also an attack for me can be just a migraine for the day, or consecutive daily migraines for a few days, to a week, etc. And I live in Hawaii, if that helps.
i have absoloutely no idea, so the best advice i can give you is to try it
From California's Medical Marijuana Application/Renewal Form. http://www.cdph.ca.gov/pubsforms/forms/CtrldForms/cdph9042.pdf
Written documentation from your doctor recommending that the use of medical marijuana is appropriate for one or the following serious medical conditions you suffer from: Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS); anorexia; arthritis; cachexia; cancer; chronic pain; glaucoma; migraine; persistent muscle spasms, including, but not limited spasms associated with multiple sclerosis; seizures, including, but not limited to, seizures associated with epilepsy; nausea; or any other chronic or persistent medical symptom that either substantially limits the ability of the person conduct one or more major life activities as defined in the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 or, if not alleviated, chronic or persistent medical symptoms may cause serious harm to your safety, or your physical or mental health.
That is just from California though to give you an idea. What state do you currently reside it?

I gotta move to California and stop eating for a while...
I've heard psychedelics (Mushrooms and LSD etc) can terminate those headaches, fully, or for a one period of time (month or year etc). But don't know about weed.
Psychedelic drugs like LSD or Shrooms are the most effective and powerful migrane medicines ever. Take a trip and you will be migrane free for almost a year :) One of my friends used to have severe cluster migranes. He took some acid about 6 months ago and he havent had a single migrane yet. Paying for expensive short lasting migrane medication sucks when you can take a low and cheap dose of acid or shrooms instead.
holy crap guys thanks for all the helpful information. and to THEWALKINGDEAD I live in Hawaii. I read the medical marijuana laws for Hawaii and it mentioned that the eligible conditions include nausea, and severe pain, which are both caused by migraines. I might just do more research for myself. but i'm gonna have to go find me some shrooms, i know there's lot's around here, but finding someone who sells will be a journey. and you're right, medication for migraines is a pain in the ass and I gave up on them because they usually don't work for me, plus yeah they're expensive as hell.

As I'm sure Stalk knows, LSD was synthesized by accident by Albert Hofmann while attempting to create a medication for migraines.
i know someone who has a scrip for bud for his migraines and it works fine for him
Saw that in House when house tests a med against migraine that does not work and does LSD in order to relieve his chemical-induced migraine (to test the med).

It's true anyway, so don't whine, you with spy avatar.

I spotted sarcasm. You with a lot of cigarettes :P
Hey HP, how many different RCs have you done?
Hey HP, how many different RCs have you done?
Does 2C-E count as an RC? Edit: No I've not had any =P
2C-I, 2C-E and 4-mmc (but just did one small line, felt almost nothing), and 2C-C is on the way. Also, I just thought LSD/shrooms would be better, you would dose only once for month/year migraine free. But weed, you have to smoke it every time for effect?

You can eat it if you want to ^^ Weed is really good in food because it tastes just as good as it smells :P

Take LSD for migraines.
Take Acid, I used to be in the same position as you but I started taking acid, and my god... I've been migraine free since I started taking it when I was 14.
Sounds like cluster headaches, weed will help
Probably have a brain tumor. Sorry for your loss OP
Is scoliosis an excuse for medical? The closest I could find for an answer to this was ChaCha confusing multiple sclerosis (MS) with it. :downs:
what you probably have is called Cluster headaches. That's harsh, and there isn't a cure. weed doesn't really help, it could make it worse. There have been some studies with LSD though. LSD is pretty much the best treatment, it cures the headaches completely. Psilocybin, or shrooms have been reported to cure the headaches as well. If your not into the psychedelics but want to rid of your headaches, there is a non hallucinogenic form of LSD called BROMO (2-Bromo-LSD), unfortunately the government has stopped funding research for this and made it illegal. My best bet is to try psilocybin, you'll hallucinate but you won't cause damage to your brain.
