Thought you guys (well UK guys) might be interested in this, tomorrow (well today at the moment) the Shawshank Redemption is free with the Sunday Times. It is a fantastic film, really fantastic.
Wiki copy and paste:
The Shawshank Redemption is a 1994 American drama film written and directed by Frank Darabont, loosely based on the Stephen King novella Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption. The film stars Tim Robbins as Andrew "Andy" Dufresne and Morgan Freeman as Ellis Boyd "Red" Redding.
The film portrays Andy spending nearly two decades in Shawshank State Prison, a fictional penitentiary in Maine and his friendship with Red, a fellow inmate.
If you have never seen it, now is your chance, is only a few quid. Cheaper than renting it.

One of the saddest things I have ever seen.
[sp]Just the way you know it is going to happen but really hope it won't[/sp]
The hell. I JUST finished watching this on TV.
[sp]Brooks' death is pretty much one of the saddest movie moments ever.[/sp]
[sp]Red: [narrating] I find I'm so excited, I can barely sit still or hold a thought in my head. I think it's the excitement only a free man can feel, a free man at the start of a long journey whose conclusion is uncertain. I hope I can make it across the border. I hope to see my friend, and shake his hand. I hope the Pacific is as blue as it has been in my dreams. I hope. [/sp]
Best closing lines in any film

My favorite line, imo.
Really good movie. I also liked the book. It was a one of three stories in the same book. Came with Apt Pupil and The Body (aka Stand By Me).
Thanks for the info man, I'll be picking this up later today.

Actually there were four stories. The last one was called the Breathing Method.

Oh yes, I remember now. Why did I forget about that one? Took a wiki search to jog the memory about it, but I remember it now.
