I don't even think it will uninstall the old ones. CCC is gone from the Programs list, but it turns back on at startup.
Thats nice.
Care to explain more instead of saying random things because I dont even know how to help besides that the program is still installed.
Catalyst control Center.
Have you used a driver removal program, or just the windows program manager?

I tried uninstalling it, following the instructions on the AMD website, but when i restarted it was still there, but it appeared uninstalled on the Programs list. I didn't search on google because i'd like a recommended program to modify important files on my computer.
well what is the exact error when you try to update it to 11.0
Do you go to the doctors' office and say to the receptionist, "it hurts, fix it!"?

There isn't one. It just starts up, I hit "Install", and nothing happens. I'm going to try some kind of driver removing software.

Wow! Thanks for the helpful post! True Facepunch hero!
go grab revo uninstaller and see if it picks it up.
if it doesnt go into hunter mode and drag the icon over the driver window and see if it can do the uninstall from there.
otherwise c:\program files\ati\
look for a uninstall.exe or something of that nature and run it.
Well, I didn't see that post until it was too late. I installed some software called Driver Genius and uninstalled the drivers for my 2 5770's. Everything got huge, so i figured i was doing it right. Well, I went to install the drivers i had downloaded from the AMD site, and as i opened it, the computer blue screened. Now it's in a constant loop of Mobo Startup screen -> Windows startup flag thing -> monitor telling me that the input timing is not supported/occasional bluescreen -> repeat.
Help please.
Press F8 right after the Mobo Startup screen, and select "Disable Automatic Reboot After System Failure"
But from the sounds of things, the new drivers don't like your current setup. You can try going back 1 version of AMDCCC. You can uninstall the version you got now by going into safe mode.
Press F8 right after the mobo startup screen, and select "Safe mode with network capabilities".
Start up, if it asks for a system restore. Politely tell it no, and continue to remove the drivers.
Since you're on Windows 7, you should be able to choose safemode right before windows starts up
Pressing F8 doesn't do anything. The motherboard i have is a MSI 770-G45

Try Delete to disable auto restart. To get to safe mode, before the windows flag, press F8.
Alright,` I'm finally on my computer. Downloading the 11.3 drivers now from the AMD site. Going to try this again.
[editline]15th May 2011[/editline]
Actually, on Tom's Hardware at least, the general consensus is that the 11.1 drivers are better, so I'm going to download those instead.
[editline]15th May 2011[/editline]
Well, it decided not to install these drivers either, so I'm just using System Restore. For some reason, my computer deemed my uninstallation of Hitman: Blood Money earlier today a good restore point, so it'll at least work, even if the drivers won't be as good. Maybe I'll try again another day... Thanks everybody for all your help!

When you install/uninstall something windows makes a restore point, your uninstall of hitman obviously was the lastest working version version so windows takes that as the best-latest restore point.
