• Texas parents sue day care center for duct taping child to nap mat
Kristi and Brad Galbraith are suing for fraud and negligence in the incident that occurred in June at the Heart2Heart Montessori Academy in Willow Park. "This is a parent's worst nightmare," Dallas attorney Larry Rasansky said. "Parents take a leap of faith to entrust their children to the care of someone else, and it is extremely upsetting when something like this happens to toddlers, who are too young to speak up for themselves." The day care center was not immediately available for comment but has said it is cooperating with authorities. "The staff and I have the best interest of the children and parents as our highest priority," it said in a statement in June. [ID:nL2N0P11O6] The couple claims in the suit it was their son who was in a widely circulated photograph that gained national media attention, which showed a child wrapped in a blanket and bound to a nap mat with silver duct tape. The photo was taken by a former employee, who sent it to the Galbraiths and told them that their son was one of two children duct-taped to mats that day, according to the suit. My mom works as the director of a preschool. I've been there for a day before. You have no idea how many kids every single one of the employees (Mom included) would love to do this to the little shits that go there. Something to be said for mental endurance though, nothing like that has happened there so far. Sad I can't say the same about that place.
Kids suck but they should've just shut their business down rather than taking their anger out on one of the little shits.
Jesus, first Ritalin, then leashes, and now, duct-taping them to the god-damn floor. These rotten little crotch-spawn are getting out of hand, what will it take to keep them still?!

This is horrible why don't they have cages or something
This is horrible why don't they have cages or something
You say that, but... I've been to a day care facility for special-needs kids. They have sets of comfortable chairs, with straps, for kids. You know the term "tard-strength"? It's a real thing. When some of these kids "snap", they can go absolutely ballistic. One of the kids ran head-first through a plaster wall, Juggernaut-style. It's a horrible thing to do, but sometimes they can pose a danger to themselves and others. But a normal daycare? Fuck that noise.
Children are the spawn of Satan, but surely sellotape could do the trick!
They're just preparing the kid for frat life DO THESE PARENTS NOT WANT THEIR CHILD IN COLLEGE
Clearly they didn't use enough duct tape.
But they were only trying to protect the kids with bullet proof blankets! No one appreciates creative thinking these days...
I've got a brilliant idea guys, if the kids are misbehaving, have all the day care center employees exit the room, following that, begin pumping non-lethal doses of carbon monoxide into the room, causing all children to fall asleep! perfect!

if they had just put all of the kids in a pit this wouldn't have happened
