• Help with an icon for Win7 theme

First time posting in Creationism Corner, be nice. I'm currently working on a "theme" for Windows 7. It's simply a Team Fortress 2 theme, and all I'm doing so far is replacing nearly every single sound with a TF2 sound. I'm also using around 200 pictures for the backgrounds, all from a previously made image pack based off of TF2 achievements. Apparently, something like this is too simple for people, and they do not consider it a theme. The first thing I've thought of replacing was/is the Windows 7 start button logo. I've tried for an hour or so to do this myself, but my knowledge/skills with Gimp aren't that great, so I'm having a lot of trouble getting it right. I'm trying to take the Team Fortress 2 logo: and make it so that each of the four sectors are colored like the Windows symbol: If someone with greater skill could do this, I'd be very thankful. If I ever do make this into an "official theme", you'll definitely be creditted. In big letters. Big bold letters that no one can ignore. The hell, who rated me disagree. How can you disagree with this?

The bottom right panel should be more orange-ish.

Wow, thanks a million! Might I ask how exactly you did it? I'd really like to learn some new things. Now I can't see it as a cool Windows 7/TF2 hybrid icon. All I see is Simon says.

But why? Isn't default colored tf2 icon better?
I'm not saying anything is wrong with the default icon, I simply want something that is a clear connection between tf2 and windows. I might just stick with the normal icon though. Actually, maybe not. I like this new icon too much.
