What are some good PSU brands, the one PSU I was looking at on newegg went sold out and I am buying a PSU for my build in a week or two. I know about Antec, Cooler Master, and Corsair, but are there any good PSUs over 600w below $90?
Enermax.
OCZs are good for the price.
The 650tx from Corsair is about that much.
OCZ are nice
you aren't going to get a really good PSU under $90, all of them advertise that they can output 650W or 500W but in reality they can only do about 400 or 350 watts under full load, which is why every one of them is terrible, but the best for <$90 would be this

This guy doesn't understand the powers of sarcasm.
I'd been using a Xclio and it worked fine, didn't cause any problems. Just bought a Corsair and it works great. Corsair seems to get great reviews also.
Edited, I meant Xclio, not Rosewill.
Anyone know how reliable Vantec PSUs are? the tech guy said they were made by the same company that made another popular brand of motherboards.
i got a Vantec Ion 2 620W, it wasn't too cheap, and the quality of the unit/cables/packaging are pretty good.
All the good brands:
Enermax
Corsair
OCZ (minus the fatality series)
Silverstone
Cooler Master
pc power and cooling
apperently, Tweaktown gave this brand a good thumbs up, i suggest the vanec ION2 620W, i got mine for $115 AUD for 620 watts, it also looks kickin' rad ( bluish brushed metal) it's silent and apparently it performs pretty well.
Ultra is awesome for price. Especially their LSP series
