I played the shit out of Rise of Nations. First game I got for our first family pc that was capable of running games.

Shit did RoN really only need 4mb of RAM.

i wonder how big the market for enhanced edition games is now, must be pretty big. while i am glad that games are being remade for our modern gaming environment, something doesn't feel right about all this money being made from re-releasing the games

this game is really good and fun to play i love the border system, and the game isn't very turtle friendly unlike age of empires and is action packed throughout the game. i actually enjoyed losing in this game and try to regain cities to restore my borders this is most likely a definite buy for me, though ill wait until reviews

Old games are being revived again so people can play and mod them. Its awesome.

Loving all of these old isometric RTS games suddenly being redone. I definitely would love to see empire earth 2, red alert and rise of legends in the near future.

Rise of Nations is the only game I have a physical copy of anymore, I keep it safe a sound in my filing cabinet. I genuinely consider it the pinnacle of the RTS genre, a robust, big game with all kinds of capabilities through it's script and mission editor. I think one thing I always appreciated about it is that depending on your faction same units didn't always share the same model. It was that attention to detail that made me cherish it. I'm really happy it's coming to Steam now.

Oh yeah! The campaign is one of the best parts. But $19.99?

Man there have been a lot of re-releases by Microsoft recently that are all (awesome)RTS. Not that I am complaining I do like old games that are good getting more life after all.
