california loves making hilariously dumb laws [editline]14th November 2016[/editline] when someone ages 45-55 is needed for a film project but california requires ages to not be shown, its going to be fun with the money wasted as they sort through the 20-30 y/olds
there's a reason ageism really isn't a thing when it comes to hiring people, why of all things does acting have to make it a big deal where age means a lot especially there?
Besides, this law would do jack shit anyway, since an actor requesting their age to be removed from a page would just invoke the Streisand effect and circulate it even further. Oh, and don't forget archiving services. You can never delete something off the internet.
They should just move IMDB's servers out of cali
