I'm not actually sure which thread we're at yet, just calling it V2. Do anyone have a count on where we are by now?
You all know the drill but let's just do it anyways.
You post about stuff that you've done today or recently, usually posts contain pictures. We're also all bros, so it's all chill here.
Starting off the thread with some polishing stuff.

I bought 3 packs, it appears one has disappeared. Getting ready to bring car back from winter storage, so just getting some new chrome polish, finding tools and stuff again. Anyone have some recommendations on a good chrome polisher?

Jk. I really need to buy another car. I'm having too much fun riding around on my motorcycle.
Fixed the rubbing on my front mudflaps. All i had to do was reroute the zip ties on the inside. It looks way better as a result.
Opened the r154... Sigh lets do this
About to go put a fuel pump in a Penis Colada car for 100 smackers.
Head bolts commin' in today by the end of the day according to UPS. Now, all I gotta do is get the shave particles cleaned off my heads and it's reassembly time! Finally geez, I was starting to get depressed just staring at the car sitting in the driveway.
Took the fender flares off of my friends cherokee, stuck a hula girl on his hood for no reason, and killed a photos of your cars thread.
Ordered a new clutch master and slave, along with 2jzgte valve covers (they work fine on the 1jzgte) and a pilot bearing.
Clutch chatter go away pl0x
I need a new o2 sensor. The three I had laying around are bad.
I'm getting terrible mileage too. Put in $7~ Monday, drove to Jap's and home and I'm on E again.
Fucking sigh.
Denso 234-4065 (NSX/Honda V6/Civic Downstream) $30
Denso 234-4209 (Universal) $34
Denso 234-4011 (Integra Upstream) $40
At RockAuto right now, the V6 upstreams just have a longer wire.
I'd assume you're looking for a 4 wire o2, dunno about 1 wire o2's.
[editline]27th February 2013[/editline]
Hold on, 234-4099 is $1 cheaper than the NSX one and is the upstream for civics/92-93 integras..
...one wire o2.
I don't use Rockauto.

It's not that I don't know where to find my own parts, I just can't afford them.
Changed tranny fluid and filter.
External spin-on filters are nice.
Old filter was just some engine oil filter someone put on, i put on a real tranny filter. Havent driven it much, hoping itll help a bit
Oh, meh figured you were OBD1.
Ah, well okay..
Yeah I know lol, I just have o2 sensors bookmarked since I replaced mine a month or so ago.
Nah, I'm OBD0 (as is every EF). No point in converting to OBD1 for me either since OBD0 does everything I could ever need (not like I'm going to be doing a K swap or anything).
Before I was tuned for no O2, but now I'm running a basemap PR4 chip in my socketed PM6, so I need an O2 sensor for it to act proper again.
The CRX I had ran a cheap ass OBD1 conversion with a chipped P28, but it's long since been sold. I don't like converting to OBD1 unless it's necessary. Why do I need all that extra spaghetti when I can do one-wire VTEC and such with OBD0?
Ah, didn't know that. Makes sense though since Honda went to OBD1 in 92 and that's the year they went to the EG style Civics.
1 wire o2's are far cheaper than the 4 wire's too, Autozone wanted $286 for my post-cat o2 and it wasn't even a Denso lol..
I just find o2 sensor prices to be a scam lol.
Actually the Civic just went OBD1 with the EG body style. The Integra went OBD1 in 1992 as well but got a facelift. The Accord was OBD1 since 1990.
They're a bit overpriced, they aren't a complicated sensor at all. One-wire sensors are dirt cheap though and any brand will do. If you get a bum one it's not even enough money to cry over getting a bad one really.
Jesus, when I retrofitted a 3 wire in my truck I think I paid $60 and got 2 O2 sensors.
My taillight that was leaking now has a little condensation in it. I tested the outter seal really good last time, im thinking my brake light bulb isnt sealing.
Anyone else more experienced with this? I dont think its the outter seal, before when it had a leak and was dripping fairly bad, there was no condensation. But i do know my brake light socket doesnt seal too good
I think there's little o-rings on mine, maybe try replacing/retrofitting them?
My new 'maro mirrors came in a few days back, they look really nice, happy I bought them. (I dont think I have posted about them yet)

Might paint them, might not.

I'm going to pick up some SS rims and tires tomorrow for $200, pretty excited as its a good deal. I'm looking at putting a 28 inch tall tire on the back with them but do you guys think it will look goofy, I haven't seen any cars with a 16 inch rim run the tire I'm looking at but I know for sure the 26 inch tall tire looks lame.
Put a foam gasket around my brake light socket. It rained last night, no where inside my car is wet. I checked all around the inside of the taillight. Is it possibly the seal on the taillight itself thats going bad, rather than the one going to the body?
These are the original lights, never been taken off
My rear quarter panels are rusting out again. How hard would it be to just cut the quarter panels off another car and put them on mine? The local junkyard has a 96 Impreza that is in pretty good shape i could get them off

Buy some Permatex Black Silicone and shave off the old silicone on the taillights. Clean the crap out of them then seal with the new stuff.
That's also how you're supposed to do it. Saw off a quarter panel then weld it on.
I just received my new license plate lights (white, instead of the yellow)
Time for installs.
Lifted the front of my audi up to figure out WHAT EXACLTY the issue was with my control arms.
Took booth tires off and I be damned. Everything is stock, including the rotors.
No wonder all my front shit makes weird noises.
Also is it bad if I'm able to pull out the bushing part of a control arm? :v:

no its a feature, it makes it easier to replace
Wile the bushing is still installed in the car...
Kinda forgot to include that in my last post.
Please suggest how should I transform this car to just look good?

My idea so far is:
Peel wraps off from mirrors and hood.
Get some service to have alloys sand blasted, then repaired, and resprayed into grey/silverish removing that shite red stripe.
Any other suggestions?
Btw - I didn't wrap it, nor I purchased those alloys.
They are CSL by the way, just shitty ones with red stripe.
I kinda like wraps on bmw's...
But those wheels, I would totally have them blasted and power coated a semi gloss black.
Also take those white small dice and throw them away. Get some mega sized pink dice!
Yeah, those alloys have some pretty decent cuts in them from kerbs from previous owner. The biggest one I've found is about 3mm deep. I wonder can people who work on this stuff fix things like that? I mean I am sure they have some kind of compound like body filler but for alloys?
Its simple. Use body filler, and powder coat over it!
Its what I did to mine...
