As we previously reported, Dunn had a blood alcohol level of .196 at the time of the crash ... more than twice the legal limit. According to Fox, investigators believe Dunn ordered 8 drinks at the bar ... and then received an additional 3 drinks from fans while he hung out in the back. According to Fox, that means the bar is off the hook -- because they didn't serve him the final three drinks, which investigators believe pushed Dunn over the edge ... into visibly drunk territory. If true, it raises a bigger question -- namely, why didn't anyone STOP Dunn from getting into his car if he was visibly intoxicated? It's the Roger Ebert argument.
Sweet tap-dancing Jesus that's a lot of booze to have before driving.
lol thats just it? .196? Thats pathetic. One of my acquaintances acquired a .359; didn't even crash either. Sounds like Ryan Dunn didn't know how to drive a car.
So much news on one man. he's awesome, yes, but hey, bro!
lol thats just it? .196? Thats pathetic. One of my acquaintances acquired a .359; didn't even crash either. Sounds like Ryan Dunn didn't know how to drive a car.
He was known to be a bad driver.

Zack probably said something like "dude that's my exit" and Dunn obliged, killing them both. He didn't randomly spin out on a straight road. I know West Chester, and that's a very straight road where he crashed. Plus, Zack's house was under 100 yards from where the crash was. /sad story
After 3 or 4 beers I can hardly stand up anymore. I can't even imagine 11.

11 Drinks in 4 Hours is not that much.. just dont drive
11 Drinks in 4 Hours is not that much.. just dont drive
Yes, yes it is.
Yes, yes it is.
for you it might be.
when we say "beers" thats not really a measurement though. when i go out i drink pints what is a beer the equivalent too? for all we know he could have been drinking larger shandys.
for you it might be.
You obviously don't know me. I have quite the tolerance, and I've been drinking for 10 years.
11 drinks isn't much, but in the space of 4 hours? Yes, it's shitloads.
You obviously don't know me. I have quite the tolerance, and I've been drinking for 10 years.
then what is your problem with 11 Drinks in 4 Hours
then what is your problem with 11 Drinks in 4 Hours
For the average person, that is a lot.
I like how everyone is letting this slide because he was a Jackass star. Had this been the average guy driving his car and crashing killing him and the passenger, later revealing he was intoxicated at the time with 11 beers, you guys would be up-in-arms about drunk drivers. I don't wish death on anyone and Ryan Dunn was an awesome guy but he was an irresponsible moron for driving drunk behind the wheel with a fellow passenger and 11 beers consumed. He put his life, his passenger's life, and anyone on the road in danger.
For the average person, that is a lot.
okay..

Lots of us grew up watching him, so it hits home even more. For me, this really hits home because I grew up near him, and I know people that grew up with Dunn. It's a small fucking world.
lol thats just it? .196? Thats pathetic. One of my acquaintances acquired a .359; didn't even crash either. Sounds like Ryan Dunn didn't know how to drive a car.
uh, .196 is over twice the legal limit
okay..
You obviously aren't a big drinker.
then what is your problem with 11 Drinks in 4 Hours
Wow you are so awesome, you can drink so much alcohol. I bet you get all the attention at parties. I better take your car keys just in case.
Wow you are so awesome, you can drink so much alcohol. I bet you get all the attention at parties.
As he's emptying the contents of his body over the shitter.
As he's emptying the contents of his body over the shitter.
you sound like a nice guy to party with.
you sound like a nice guy to party with.
I don't go to high school parties, sorry.

However this always happens. Someone famous can drive drunk and no one gets angry but when the average guy leaves the pub, gets in his car, and goes and kills someone, it's a huge ordeal. Roger Ebert argued the same thing and now he's under controversy.
I don't go to high school parties, sorry.
Lucky you, me neither.
It's always sad, but you know what I mean.
Yeah for you it's a lot closer to home and that's completely understandable. He was part of the community. It just upsets me seeing Ebert come under fire for trying to speak some logical sense that celebrities need to be treated equal to the common folk.
Ebert spoke to soon, and was too harsh.
He was harsh enough to get his point across. People always say "too soon". It has to be said at some point and I respect the man for it.
