I was hoping to "accidentally" smack my friends' hands while they build high-up bridges but I guess that'll look way more suspicious now. Still, split-screen makes it almost worth buying for me after already having bought the PC version and getting bored of it. Split-screen makes everything fun.
Oh dear god! There going to work on this thing half assed like the PC version but you can't have any mods.
-snip- There goes my automerge.
I'll probably buy it.
This sounds awfully familiar.
...kinect?
Wave your arms around to place blocks?
Why can't we get this on PC, you know one friend next to your desk with a controller
Splitscreen is something I dearly miss in gaming. This would be a perfect game for 4 players.
It's sad to see that almost no games nowadays have a split-screen feature. I like this!
i guess im the only one who fails to see what the big deal is about splitscreen minecraft
i guess im the only one who fails to see what the big deal is about splitscreen minecraft
You're not.
I can't wait to get this for free. Cause we do get it for free, right?
I can't wait to get this for free. Cause we do get it for free, right?
25% off apparently.
Wait, I thought this was released a while ago.

Chances are they're using C# XNA for this.. Why don't they also compile a PC version of it? Would be a lot faster then the shitty Java version they're currently running on.
25% off apparently.
So what part of "buy alpha and get all future versions free" did I misunderstand?
the part where notch is full of shit
So what part of "buy alpha and get all future versions free" did I misunderstand?
the part where he realized that it was a terrible business decision.
the part where he realized that it was a terrible business decision.
So can we sue him for false advertising?
if you have the money to go ahead
if you have the money to go ahead
Gonna change my major and become the best lawyer just to sue Notch.
I would honestly rather see Minecraft PC reach a stable, interesting version (which is imo close to happen thanks to jeb) rather than an early XBLA release. I think it's starting to be a bit too much given all the other projects at Mojang, especially since PC and XBLA minecraft will obviously use different coding (XBLA does not support java as far as I'm concerned) which means updates will take longer to be applied globally, and even more on one of the two supports relatively to the other.
I wonder if someone could mod in split-screen on the pc...
Oh dear god! There going to work on this thing half assed like the PC version but you can't have any mods.
Mods, in some cases are kind of bad. Take hacks for example; hacks that corrupt the game by allowing players to see through blocks to easily find diamond. Or see players even though they are sneaking. Or simple speedhacking. The x-box version is much less likely to have these sort of problems included.
Gonna change my major and become the best lawyer just to sue Notch.
Notch will probably challenge you to a game of Quake 3 to settle it. I would recommend you to train but I expect Notch to be terrible at Quake 3.
I must be the only person on earth that despises split screen with a passion.
Yeah you are.
